Sending prayers
Tags:to the people in the path of Hurricane Katrina.
Watched Phantom of the Opera last weekend. Amazing. Can't believe I have never experienced Phantom before. The music is magic. It is so in my head right now. Downloaded the soundtrack from iTunes so I can play songs over and over. LOL. It is getting a little much. But oh so good. Needs to be listened to very loud for maximum impact and emotion.
Nice to have no plans for the upcoming week besides scrapping, getting all my class supplies for the coming months in order, and hanging with me family.
Hoping, as well, that this will be the week that some things are clarified for us. Say a couple positive prayers for our family this week for patience, perserverence, acceptance, and plain old faith in goodness.

Ali, I agree with all the others who have already said how much better the stage production of Phantom is compared to the movie.......and I only saw HALF the play...lol!!! Actually, the reason I only saw half of the play is not really a laughing matter. During one of the scenes where the main female character was supposed to disappear beneath the stage by slowly descending on an elevator, there was malfunction with the elevator, and the actress fell beneath the stage and broke her ankle. It was SCARY and very painful for her, I bet!! At first nobody in the audience knew that she got hurt. When we heard her scream we just thought it was part of the show. We were wrong. So the lights came on, and we were told what had happened, and then the play ended right there. So, I have yet to see entire play, but I hope to one day, because the first half alone was at least twice as great as the entire movie was..in my opinion, of course...lol!!!
Sending prayers your way, Ali!! I'm new to your Blog as of yesterday so I'm assuming by your post that you have family that is being affected by the hurricane? If so, I will include them in my prayers along with all the others I'm praying for that are in the path of the hurricane. Take care!!
Hugs,
Michele

Ali,
I'll pray for the safety of any family you have out there. I use to live in Florida and i know how devasting hurricanes can be. My husband signed me up for your upcoming class in Albany, Oregon in November. I am totally excited. My hubby is the best! Can't wait to meet you!

You're right about the music needing to be at a higher than normal volume. I love to play it in the car when I'm by myself - perfect for the drive to Portland.
Really praying for you, Ali
btw. I entered the dare.
