A Short { A } List.
Tags:Cool stuff to check out on a Monday:
• Junkyard Baby : I originally encounted this stuff at Urban Arts & Crafts in Kansas City. Loved it. Bought a bunch. EDITED:Oops - I fixed the link problem.
• The LOVE LIFE movement. I am totally inspired by this. Check out her other site too: IdeaMonsters.
• Ruth Adler : I just like her style.
• Deadwood. Chris started watching this show awhile back - did not sound like my "thing" at all. Now, I love it and we are just starting to watch the second season on DVD. Last night we watched a Behind The Scenes episode and it was awesome. The creator/writer had a ton to say about humanity and our use of language and on and on - I was so all over it.
• A new Yahoo group was started (through the message boards on Two Peas) for autism support. You can check it out/join here: 2Peas Autism Support Group. You totally don't have to be a Two Peas regular/scrapbooker to join - just happens to be a commonality :). Anyone is welcome. Thanks for taking the initiative on this Molly.

Thanks for sharing the info Ali.
I got to tell ya. I was wearing my enough is enough t-shirt on Friday and I got stopped by someone at the mall asking me where I got it, so of course I told her where and who the design was by and why. She herself had an autistic son and had heard about you. She couldn't wait to visit cafe press and purchase one.
Hope you are enjoying your long weekend.

ya gotta love Deadwood! at first I was grossed out by the language/violence etc...but it has such great characters and they are so real that you get engrossed in the story....plus perfect Oregon weather this weekend to kick back and watch it... if you have 'On Demand' with your cable you can watch Season 2 right now.

I have to tell you Thank you for all the good stuff you post on your site! I have been checking out several different books you suggested awhile back and am thoroughly enjoying them! I read the Time Travelers Wife (loved it!), and am now reading the 12 secrets of highly creative women. (I bought this at Barnes and Noble for $7.98!) I already had done some of the artists way, which I heard about through a journalism class I took in college. I loved it but haven't really gone back to that, so thank you for the suggestions!

Ali, I feel the need to tell you that you are one of the most inspiring people that I have ever 'known'. Although we have never met or spoken, I take comfort in my own life and challanges because of the way you talk about yours. You are not afraid to say out load that you are not super human. That you are fragile, strong, creative, lovable and working hard at finding balance. My husband is a SLP and when he reads about your parenting style he wishes to himself that more parents could be like you. Keep on smiling Ali, keep inspiring, keep teaching us that we are all life artists in our own unique ways. Cheers!

thanks for the links, Ali! I love the junkyard stuff. Be a native to KC I am always excited to find something fun from there. Feels like home! Glad to see the 2P's autism link. I had tried to get a 2P ASD group together a few months back, but only had 2 people join, so it sits quietly. I am glad to see more Peas responding to Molly's group!
Have a great week!
