Cool place.
Tags:Totally cool place this city called Tokyo. Here is the view from our room:
Getting ready for classes this morning (Friday morning here right now). Spent the day yesterday in Nikko - beauiful shines and a temple up in the mountains a couple hours outside of Tokyo. Awesome to get to experience something so old and cool.
There are SO MANY people here in this city. Continually amazed by the sea of people moving from here to there. Never-ending. And the lights and the quiet. This place is so quiet for the sheer number of people. And the city goes on forever.

Tokyo is great and all, and I'm sure you have jet lag and are probably teaching a class right not, but.... MAN am I DYING to post a link to my ae-zine creative challenge. This week's newsletter ROCKED.
But I'll be patient... I think.

Love that you're in Japan. One of my brother's served a mission for our church there for 2 years. He had the greatest stories!
Here' my photoshopped picture. It's really a triumph for me because heather=not good at photoshop! You may have to scroll down a bit!
Thanks for this challenge. It talked to me.

yes, it is amazingly quiet overthere!~ even in the akiharbara district, where all the electronics are. it is something else, like a mini vegas all lit up at night, but so quiet compared to where we are.

Welcome to Tokyo.
I am glad to meet you here in Tokyo
and amazed because Eugene where you
come from is where I lived and went UO.
I was supposed to go back to Eugene, but
I am still in Tokyo somehow.
The old fashion ice cream store,
the small move theater, chinese restrant
in Spring field, the buses, the bakery & coffee shop,
Safeway, Sundance, the rock concert,
WILLAMET St. & PEAL St....
Many of them I cant remember their names,
but I still remember the atmosphere of
Eugene in my heart.
Someday, in the near future, I will go
BACK to Eugene with my family.
Thank you for coming to Japan
and making me remember Eugene!
Peace, Nagisa

Isn't Tokyo Awesome? We just visited this summer and totally LOVED it! You're just a hop skip and a jump from Guam now. How about a quick appearance on your way back? lol
