My word is be. Just really encompasses evertything I need to work on this year.

breakthrough

It took me a few days to think about this one. I decided on: Moderation. Why? Well, similar to your situation, my DH is running for Vice District Governor of our organization. We're campaigning right now so I need to remember everthing needs to be done in moderation, especially eating (!). I have to stop being obsessed (although it's good to a point) about things that I think should be done, so this is a good reminder for me.
Thanks for making us all stop and think about our word!

What an amazing list - very inspiring!!

I am late joining this challenge, but very excited. I was thinking how could I pick just 1 word.... later, in the shower, a word popped in my mind and just like you said it didn't make sense at first.
My word is NEED!
example "do I need to eat this?" (getting healthy)- "what do my boys need from me today?" (taking care of my kids) - "do I need this item?" (organizing my home) - "does my husband need anything?" (being a good wife). The word helps me asks important questions about all the important things in my life that I want to focus on this year. Thanks for the challenge....

My word is BLISS. I have a new baby who got off to a rather rocky start, as well as all of the other "mom" stuff {read 'chaos'} going on, so this year I am going to focus on finding BLISS in every day, fleeting moments.
