There's a difference between 'creative' mess (punches, papers) and garbage mess (empty candy wrappers and drink cans). Your desk looks very creative! ;)

My desk is the perfect challenge for MacGyver. What would you create with a pile of paper scraps, a mini iron, sandpaper, erasers, glue and a pile of not working gel pens??? *lol*

So fun to see your mess, now I don't feel so bad for having such a messy desk. Mine is crazy messy and I haven't even been cretive lately. Bummed about that. Sorry to hear that you aren't a CHA, but totally understand the need to be at home working on that book that I am sure is going to be fabu!

Your desk looks like my kitchen table looked last night/this morning! My sister-in-law who is 13 spent the evening with us and I told her to bring her scrapbook and some pictures. I drug a ton of stuff out of my scrap studio and set it up in my kitchen and gave her free reign of everything there. I only got one layout finished, but I had an awesome time creating it. I had ink, scraps and paint everywhere. I posted my layout on my blog. I almost took a picture of my mess before I cleaned it up this afternoon, and now I'm mad that I didn't. Oh well, there will always be another scrap mess. Probably today.

So...if my desk gets as messy as Ali's, does it mean I will be as cool-uber creative as Ali?
