My biggest photo struggle is one of organization. I am that person who always has her camera, and takes tons of photos -- (as my father-in-law put it once I'm the girl who takes 27 pictures of my daughter's left ear because the light was good that day. And I upload them, review them, and often edit them; but I have trouble deleting them and so, have ended up with big, sloshy digital albums that are hard to manage. I need to let it go and learn how to pare down and that it's OK to let some of the bad shots go...
LOVE your site. I visit every day and find such inspiration here!

First off - I love reading your blog and all your great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Problems:
1) Old photos. There are no notes on them and I feel disconnected from them. How to scrap them in a meaningful way?
2) Just starting with digital and have no clue how to download and store them in a way that makes sense.
3) And should I print them out or wait until I am working on a particular subject.

I am a 53-year-old newlywed with a yearning to tie my blended family together with pictures. Hopefully a book of new memories will bring smiles to our faces and help everyone RELAX with the newness.

Oh biggest photo struggle??? Getting my pics on pages. I take a lot.. and I mean A LOT... I have had my digital camera for 4.5 years and have 16000 photos and thats with me deleting most of the bad ones. Then there is my photo boxes.. I have at least 5.. its tough to decide which ones to do, or what do to the page about, much less fine the photo Im looking for.

I struggle with getting them actually printed off the computer.

Hi Ali---Your 365 project is so creative. You have an eye for capturing life.
My photo challenge? I am signed up for the LOM class....counting the days down until it starts. I have a cabillion pictures stored in what I thought were organized files. But after taking over 10,000 pictures in 2 years, they can be challenging to find. Another problem is how to get a funtioning workflow to printing photos I want to scrapbook, print to save, and erase those I will never use.
Let Photo freedom free me!!

My biggest struggle is organization and deciding what I want to do with all my photos. Do I want to print them and put them in albums? What is the best way to organize them on my computer? What do I want to scrap from those pictures?

My biggest photo stuggle is uploading and printing all the pictures I take. My husband jokes that our 2 year son already has more pictures of him than my husband has from his whole life :-) I am working on distinguishing which photos should be printed and which ones should just be saved. I try to save my photos on CD every few months and put them in our safe deposit box too.

I have issues with lighting. I can never seem to get it right! Either the flash is too much and the regular light is too dim, or it is too bright when I am taking pictures!!
Thanks for doing this by the way!!

Can't wait to check out Stacy's book. My biggest photo struggle is getting them out of iPhoto. We take SO many pictures. It's so overwhelming trying to figure out which ones to scrap - since I cannot possibly scrap all of them.

Ok ok I'll play along though fully not expecting to win.
My biggest photo struggle is that right now I don't have a functioning camera!!
I'm wanting the Canon Powershot Elf with the 3.0 inch screen. I know they are not terribly expensive, but the budget is a smidge tight.
