How to reconcile scrapping the current papers with the older photos. Makes me crazy as I know somewhere in that stash of mine is the EXACT paper I found to go with those EXACT photos.

taking even close to an equal # of photos of my 4 boys. There is an 11 year gap between the oldest and the youngest so I guess my biggest photo hurdle is getting them all together in ONE photo. On the occasions when it does happen I have to totally give up on getting them all to behave :) Pictures of them fighting is better than no picture at all, right?

Since we switched to digital, my biggest challenge is getting them off the computer and into books. Once I am done scrapbooking all the pics off the film camera, I finally won't have a choice!

Hi Ali
I have a couple of photo struggles - one - lighting. I have a really hard time lighting the photo properly. Second - I cannot bring myself to delete any of my digital photos, so I end up with literally thousnads of pictures to store, sort and print.
Thanks!

My biggest struggle is getting them off the computer - they're organized there, and I do well with that - but that's where they sit. Makes it easier to digi scrap but not to paper scrap!

I have a few struggles! Getting into the picture myself, getting the right settings so my pictures don't come out so dark (especially indoors) and knowing which to print for my layouts!!!

I have a Sony Syber-shot and many of my pics come out blurry. I try to keep my hand steady but I'm not made of stone. :)

Hi Ali!
I struggle with processing my photos and printing them out because of the huge amount of time it takes. Recently I decided to print the pictures from a friends wedding without processing them (gasp!) and when I received them I was disappointed in over half of them. But I just didn't feel like I had the time to weed through 200+ photos one by one. Plus, it takes so long to upload them to a processing site. Ugh!
Maybe this book could help me figure out a plan and rescue me from this mess!

What to do with all the photos. If I don't put them in an album right away, they just pile up in box after box after box! HELP!

Gosh that book looks amazing!
I'd say my biggest struggle is sorting. By theme? By time of year? By event? I never know where I happened to have put a specific photo I might be thinking of, or where to look if I have an idea for a LO but no picture in mind.

My greatest struggle is being too anal about organization. Not only do I have a zillion photos like everyone else, but I'm a prisoner to my desire/need to organize -- by date, by event, by name -- and every combination therein. I'm also an IT specialist by profession so even the file names have to be so-so. I spend so much time and effort trying to organize...and admittedly, I'm not even close to being successful...that I'm overwhelmed. I need perspective.

hi ali,
fairly new to your blog and have been checking back here and there. signed up for your newsletter. love your style. love your blog.
i would have to say my biggest problem is organization!!! that and storage/back up. i'm getting a little better and this year plan to do much more with my pictures than in years past. in years past, they have sat on my computer and eaten up space. so this year i'm trying to figure out different ways to use my photos as i don't consider myself a traditional scrapbooker.
thanks for your inspiration!

I have always struggled with keeping my photos organized and under control. And currently I'm setting up my new scrapbook room. This book would be a huge asset as I'm going through the organizational process.

Hi Ali. Gosh what struggle don't I have?! I guess my biggest struggle/complaint is not printing out my pictures. I have thousands of pictures that don't get looked at because they're just sitting on my computer. It's fun to look through them, but I wish they were in albums. I guess that's the one negative thing about digital. As far as taking pictures I have a hard time getting sharp images, it's something I hope to improve. :)

My personnal struggle is to accept the not so "perfect" pictures. I have actually taken alot of tips from you and started taking pictures of things not just family. The things around tell such a story also.
Thanks Ali...you rock!

Hi Ali! Good question!
I struggle with the sheer volume of photos that I print but can't throw away (it's just too easy to select all to save time!)!! UGH!
THANK YOU!
