Hi Ali,
I would say my biggest struggle is lighting. I have a hard time seeing the shadows at the time I am taking the photo. But, a photographer is what I want to be when I grow up, or maybe a professional organizer, or maybe retired. I can't quite put a finger on it as of yet. So instead I'll settle for Mama, and bookkeeper, and part time cook/scrapper/painter/amateur photographer.

Hi Ali:
I have two challenges: Getting my camera off the manual setting. The relationship between shutter speed and aperture is still foreign and not having my camera when presented with a great shot. I was on the way home from dropping my daughter off at school this am and saw the most beautiful rainbow, no camera. I did get a shot when I got home but I missed the better one. I am hoping to attend the Creative Photo Retreat in CA to rectify this. Look forward to seeing you.

My biggest problem is understanding how my camera works in the manual mode. Seeing with my eye the perfect picture, but something different shows up in the camera.

My sons are only getting older and my pictures are piling up and I am desperate for organizational help. This chance is incredible and I am hoping that my name will be chosen. Thanks for this chance and for your inspiring blog!

Hi Ali,
My biggest struggle is getting them into albums. I have about 25 photo albums now. I have about 1 year in envelopes that need to go into albums. Since the digital revolution took over, I take twice as many pics!

Love Stacy Julians way of "big picture scrapbooking". Can't wait to learn more about her way of organizing photos!
I always struggle with developing pictures in time. Often I develope them half a year later and than the best ideas of scrapping them are already gone.

My biggest photo stuggle is what to do with the extra photos once I am done scrapbooking the ones I love the best - I end up putting them in totes and have now accumulated a ton of totes of photos! What do I do with them all.

Honestly, painfully honestly, my biggest struggle is accepting that there are not many pictures of me in all the family photos (I am usually the one behind the camera) and the ones that I am in aren't great. I don't want my boys to think I was just on the sideline of life--I was participating too! Of course, I share all the other stuggles--too many, how to store, which to print, but this is my greatest.

My biggest struggle is getting decent shots of the big events - Christmas, birthdays etc. I'm great with moments but fall apart if the situation is really important.

It's hard to pick just one, but I would say using any setting other than Auto is the biggest struggle that I have been dealing with lately.... Have a fantastic day!

My biggest photo struggle... if I don't think that the picture is perfect, I have a hard time scrapbooking it. I'm getting over this, but am lacking in pages due to it.

My problem is all the tiny 3X5 photos that have been sitting in boxes for years. They are not-so-great photos of my grown daughters and fun times we had, but they don't look so good on a scrapbook page.

Sorting my pictures on the computer. I know it sounds easy but it's really hard to move things around. Plus backing up my photos is also something I forget to do alot.
Thanks, Jane

My biggest photo struggle is trying to decide how to organize them on my computer ... I need to find the best way to store them: by date, by subject, by type, by year / month.....I take LOTS of pictures of family, friends, events and everyday life ( thanks for the class CKU Nashville ) and need to find a way and a system to make it easy to have them when I need them or want to print them - SIMPLIFY is my word for this year , need to make it happen with pictures and computer storage !!
Happy Thursday - Carole

Biggest struggle? Having that eye to capture the right picture other than portraits.

Just getting them all developed + finding a way to USE them all is a huge problem. Hope I win so I can figure it out! I think i'll buy it anyways though...

I think my biggest photography problem is shooting in low light. I'm struggling learning which ISO I should use along with the white balance and such. I strive to take very natural, unposed pictures.
