Organizing 6 years worth of photos on our computer! Deciding which ones to print and which ones to scrapbook...Definitely needing to take some kind of PhotoShop course to learn of the possibilities of how to edit... The list is endless. I'd like to keep it simple, but am not sure where to begin!

I'm struggling to get control over my digital camera. It's always a great shot in my mind but the resulting photo doesn't match up. Lots to learn. Next challenge: what to do with all those files on my computer and backed up to the EHD. So many so-so photos, so little time...

My biggest struggle is just remembering to get the camera out and take every day pictures. That includes taking pictures of my husband and also allowing the camera to be turned on me. I have so few of me....

I have the same struggle as everyone else, organizing photos. I started shooting digital in 2002, and have a ton of digital as well as film photos.
For the most part I had my film photo pretty well organized until I decided to have them scanned. The scanning place had me sort them by SIZE, which meant instead of being in neat little boxes by year they are now a gigantic mess. Not to mention the scanning company did a terrible job, making the digital copies unusable.
So now I not only am out $100, but I have years of photos (mine and my grandmothers) that need to be completely resorted and reorganized.
This time though, I'm planning on putting them into sleeve albums instead of boxes, so that my family can enjoy them whenever they like. I really need to get started, but every time I look at the box full of jumbled photos (almost 3000 pictures!), I get depressed and don't know how to get started.

My biggest photo struggle is getting them off the camera... I still have photos from Thanksgiving on memory cards waiting for me to get them saved onto the computer!

I have finally given up my compulsion to scrap all of my photos, but I'm still struggling with what to do with the ones I don't scrap. Plus, I really want to scan all of my pre-digital photos so I have them on my computer, but this is so overwhelming!

My biggest fustration would have to be the fact that my camera is too big for my britches. I bought a Canon Rebel SLR and no very little about what to do with. I know that am not even near using it to it's potential. I know a photography class is in order but that would mean less cash for scrapbook supplies so what's a girl to do. Love you, Ali
Simon looked great in his birthday hat!

Oh, very cool! I haven't read any of the books that Stacey has written before.
My problem would have to be F stops and bright light... I haven't got the hang of that at all! I do fine in low light, but brights - blah!

My biggest struggle is going from digital to print with my photos... being a web developer/designer, there are so many filters, leveling, color corrections, and cropping. The possibilities are endless. So endless, i don't know where to start or where to go. :D

My biggest photo struggle is printing the darned things! Since I went digital in 2004 I have only printed a handful of photos to go on layouts. The rest just sit on my pc waiting for me to 'tweek' them or decide what size I want to print them. Now I have so many that I am overwhelmed at the idea of going through them all.

My photo struggle? Probably different from most here. I am okay with the fewer photos that I DO take...I am enjoying the moments more. The struggle is that the cameras we have just aren't up to snuff on quality. The photos I DO take are not a decent quality at all. I scrap them anyway, as it's the only photo(s) from the event. But it really is a struggle looking at poor quality photos and trying to work with them!

My biggest struggle....convincing myself to be IN the photo and not just hid behind the camera.

My biggest struggle is remembering to do regular backups of my digital photos...especially now that they're taking up more than a DVD can hold. It's scary thinking how many memories and scrapbooking ideas could disappear in an instant if there were no backups! That and remembering to tag my photos properly to allow easy finding/cross referencing :)

I have tons of fantastic photos and when I sit down to scrapbook I have no idea what to use. I draw a blank or feel totally overwhelmed. As a result, most of the time I end up not scrapbooking anything at all.

my biggest struggle would be organizing and selecting those to be printed for keepsakes rather than leaving them all on the cds!!

Oh, for sure those cheesy fake smiles that I hate when I am taking them but love looking back at them. Especially the ones with the giant new front teeth that look three times too big!

That's funny, just before I came on your blog, I was checking out the Library of Memories class and wishing I could afford it and figured I guess I'll have to wait for the book. =) Thanks for the opportunity. I have been wanting organizing my photos to be my next project so i can get those boxes of photos OUT of my closet!
