Hi Ali,
My biggest photo problem is trying to figure out the date my old film photos were taken (especially of my first and second babies). I wrote down in my schedule diary at the time what the bub was wearing etc so I'd be able to have some kind of idea, but it wasn't a foolproof system. Now I've gone digital it's heaps better, but I still long to provide an accurate date for those film photos of baby's first year.

Biggest struggle....I have a few....
Since going digital I have a hard time getting actual prints. I keep saying "oh that picture would be great for a page but I need to enlarge it, or, shrink it, or, fix XX in photoshop, or....something else. And then I never get around to doing anything with it.
And organizing my digital pictures? forget it. It's a nightmare. :(

My biggest photo struggle is deciding what is the most economical and convenient way to process my digital photos. I can't decide if I want to buy a photo printer, get faster Internet service (I have slooowww dial up) so I can upload my photos to someplace like Shutterfly, or continue to save my pics on a CD and bring them to a local one hour photo place. P.S. I got your Life Artist book for Christmas, (got your poster on my wall in my scrapbook room too) and I can't wait to actually put all your great ideas to use! Been really busy and sick since Christmas, but hopefully within the next few days I'll be able to do some scrapbooking! Jen

WOW!! Over 1600 comments. Good luck to you through this process - and, of course, thank you for your giveaway.
My biggest struggle is changing from apoint and shoot to the DSLR that I got on New Years. I wanted one of these - ached for one of these - but did't realize how different it would be. Point in case ... camera shake. So much to learn but ... I can't wait!

Biggest challenge - pulling out the camera for documenting the everyday life. Second biggest challenge - filing both on the computer and hard copy.
Read you every day.

My biggest problem started when I got my digital camera. I have so many pictures on my computer and not enough backed up or printed. I love the idea of digital, but haven't completely adjusted to it. I really liked to take film in, have it developed and hold the pictures in my hand.

I can never seem to capture the emotion of the moment in a picture... Hmmm...

It's hard to narrow it down to just one stuggle!
I think my biggest struggle now is with photography---trying to really capture the story that I want to tell and then remembering WHY I wanted to tell it by the time I print out the photo and sit down to scrap. By the time I actually handle my photos they don't look nearly as wonderful as they did in my head!

biggest photo problem: so many digital pictures that are not printed & printed photos in boxes not albums

Not feeling like I have to use 10 pictures on a layout. Or maybe, trying what size to make the pictures since some are way more cute as a 5X7.

I would have to say lighting. I always think that my pictures are going to look better than they do!

My biggest struggle is just trying to figure out all the features of my camera. Sometimes I miss great, simple shots just because I am fiddling with my camera settings.

Bigges struggle is getting the ones on the computer organized (and deleted if necessary) and into albums or scrapbooks.

In the last couple years, it's become really hard for me to take pictures of anything other than my daughter! I never remember to snap the everyday or artsy pictures, or even pictures of myself and my husband. All my boxes of photos are filled with pictures of DD.

My biggest struggle would have to be....actually getting started scrapping and using the photos I have. I seem to have a fear of commitment in putting pages together. I think it is because of my fear that a more perfect paper, embelishment, etc. will come out that would have been perfect versus the one that I used. Crazy, I know. I seem to have accumilated a stock pile of photos and product waiting for me to commit. (By the way my word for the year is COMMIT.)

Hello Ali - Taking pictures of myself, that's my biggest challenge. Taking your "Week in the Life" in Nashville was great, but since then, not too many pictures of myself.
Thank you!

OMG, Ali! Am I a little late? ha.ha. My biggest struggle is taking the time to figure out how to use the equipment we own! I also get overwhelmed about how much scrapbooking I need to do to get "caught up" and then it doesn't get done. I'd rather be reading y'alls blogs! ha.ha.

Hey Ali!
My biggest photo struggle is leaving all my pics on my computer and not backing them up. I am afraid someday I will wake up and they will all be gone, but I just don't know the best way to do this.... print, cd's, external hard drive.....

My photo struggle is dealing with all of the old photos from my childhood and heritage photos that I don't want to adhere anywhere.

Hmmm, let's see: do I print out the pictures on my computer? do I scan the pre-digital photos onto my computer? What do I do if I do print them out and after scanning them? I have pictures going nowhere...

Hey!!! Biggest photo challenge is keeping up with three teenage boys and their sports! The amount of blurry pictures I get are too numerous to count. If only they would slow down!!!!!

This book looks so helpful!! I've been thinking of taking the LofM class.
My biggest photo struggle getting them organized. Since I went digital in May 2006 my photos are not very organized. It's really frustrating b/c I am scared that I'll lose some somewhere and not remember the story that goes with them.
