My favorite thing about memory keeping is looking back at how my little ones have changed and also looking through albums to relive some happy, fun times.

I love the direction that scrapbooking has taken in regards to "thinking outside the 12 by 12 box". Everyone's (including my own) style is becoming so creative, and I love that! And I love that my son loves to look at his life in our scrapbooks and remember things from years ago.

Ali, first off, I love the work you do! You are such an inspiration! The thing I like the most about memory keeping is pretty much the creative process. I mainly scrap for the fun and art, the memories left over is a bonus. I love the freedom I have in doing what I want, I love that there are no rules, and I love the way a completed project gives me a feeling of completeness.
Keep up the good work Ali, I know you have inspired many people and have taught them to be more free in thier creations.

Hi Ali,
I would say my favorite part of memory keeping right now is sharing with my 7 year old daughter. She's beginning to take an interest in what I do and likes to spot photo opportunities for me. She will even ask me to scrapbook a page of something she has done. Memory keeping is so many things: sharing with her is one of so many reasons why it is so important to me.

My favorite thing is to look at my sweet husband when he reads my journaling. His eyes get brighter as he remember that specific day / event. Being pregnant, I love recording how I feel, what we do, who we meet so that my baby will know how much we were happy to welcome him.

I love being able to capture a moment in time. Life moves so fast. It's nice to be able to have a reminder of what was important, how things looked, and who we were at that point in time. I also love having a creative outlet.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I am learning to live in the moment. I find that I am recording more of the everyday stuff in our life and my three kids love to look at the things that I create and talk about the memories.

Memory keeping gives me a chance to take a break from everything, and I love reliving the moments while working on scrapbook pages. I work full time and I attend school part time, so my schedule is usually full. I love any chance to take a break....cut up some paper....use my glue roller....and just have fun with my pics! =)

I enjoy making things that I know my children and grandchildren will read and look at in the future. I always keep that in mind when I journal and want to make sure I get all the details down for future generations.

Hi Ali!
Thanks so much for this awesome give away. My favorite thing about recording my memories right now is looking back at them. I just recently dug out so older layouts and they aren't perfect and I've forgotten things, but I love them! They make me smile! So right now my favorite thing is looking at what I've been able to record in the past! It's a great motivator to do more now! Thanks for the awesome blog! I love to read it!

My favorite is bringing out my kids personality in the LO. You need to know who you are/where to get where you are going in life.

My favorite thing is seeing the joy on my son's face when he looks back at the pictures and stories. He's only nine and he really enjoys looking at his preschool pictures lately. It's really a happy family time to sit down together and review the pages I've done.

Hi, Ali -- first thanks for turning me on to Studio calico. I managed to buy their July kit so this giveaway is really not for me. But i wanted to respond to the what is important about memories. My nieces and nephews and my boyfriend and daughter ..I guess really my relationships and the preciousness of time is what makes it important. I have one niece graduating from HS this year and another starting...a father turning 73...the passage of time is a part of life. But capturing it..and allowing us to relive it...makes it so much more wonderful. Thanks for sharing!

I love that memory keeping is a snapshot of the here and now. The products I like, the photos I think I worthy of preserving, the words that are fresh in my mind. Oh, that and I have a poor memory!
