hey ali!
i haven't scrapped for a very VERY long time. sometimes things change in life and you don't want to remember it. sometimes life gets so busy you don't find time!
but i want to start again. because it's therapeutic to get it out. and even though they might not be the pretty happy memories...they are still mine.

My favorite thing about memory keeping has to be reliving all those wonderful memories. I mostly enjoy sititng with my photos, writing down the stories I want to tell, and it doesn't matter if it's been a day or 10 years since it happened, it always takes me back. It's fantastic.

I really enjoy thinking about how what I'm scrapping now is going to be so much more vivid to me in many years. Instead of letting the memories fade, this wonderful hobby is letting me remember like I was there again. I love that. Thanks for giving away Studio Calico, Ali!

I have been focusing on the "everyday" events at our house - trying to pull out the camera at least once a day to document our daily lives.

Fav thing right now is knowing that someday, if i forget these moments, i can look at the pages and know how i felt :)

Ali,
My favorite part of memory keeping is the everyday stuff that happens, more so than the "posed" times. I love to catch my four children doing what they do on a daily basis. Those are my favorite moments. Thanks for this opportunity...

I think my favorite thing right now is... pattern paper! I just can't seem to get enough of it all of a sudden!

Honestly, memory keeping at this point in my life is about investigating my values, discovering my passions, and celebrating my blessings. I'm newly married, beginning the next phase of my life, and examining my evolving identity has been the subject of my latest projects. It's important for me to capture who I am today, this week, this month, this year, so I can trace how I change and reflect on this evolution for years to come. One day, I suspect it will be quite the treat to share my personal growth with a child of my own. Who knows what they might learn from my experiences?

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is options! There are so many options for tools and accessories and creativity which equals so many options for beautiful books, frames and more to share with family and friends.

We don't remember everything that happens in our lives, so making scrapbooks is a great way to share those memories even when we're gone. I hope future generations will appreciate our efforts.

I feel like when I'm capturing things in either photo format or in journaling I'm avoiding the feeling like time is slipping away between my fingers. I cherish things more. I see more clearly what is important and what isn't. Things seem more vivid. Any it comforts my soul.

I've been working on a heritage album for quite some time. I love preserving the memories of our ancestors for so many generations and I'm excited to pass this information on to my kids and their kids!

Hey Ali! The thing I'm loving right now is that my LOs are conversation starters. I love for family to come over and say "OMGosh! I remember this! Do you remember when we...".
It's like a loop. An event happens creating a memory. Then I scrap the event and people look at the layouts. That sparks their memories and usually gives me more to scrap! Love that!
Thanks for the chance to win! Have a gerat week!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is documenting my children's life as parents. Yes, I enjoy scrapbooking my grandchildren's activities and cuteness, but my greatest pleasure is seeing what wonderful parents my boys have become and recording that. They were wonderful kids, (absolutely no prejudice here) but they really shine as parents. Makes me feel like I must have done something right.

My fav is just seeing how much my daughter
has grown. I'm behind on my scrapping so I'm going through lots of old pics trying to do all my pics. I really want my family's story told.

I think what has ROCKED my world lately is reading Stacey Julian's book Photo Freedom. This has revolutionized the way I scrapbook. I have always wanted to break out of chronological scrapping, but didn't really know how until I read about Stacey's system.
Thanks for such a great giveaway to start off the week!

My favorite thing about memory keeping .. is capturing "the stuff" .. those moments in time when you look back on .. you will be saying .. "Did I really do that?" ...

My favorite part about memory keeping is just putting words to a picture. Writing something down from the moment and then, naturally, you forget that moment, but when you look at your scrapbook years down the road you read your words and remember. That is a beautiful thing.

Lately, I've been scrapping events but as putting the pages together, I've realized how many memories I relived - even the small happy things. When I sat down to journal, those are the things I wrote about because it just felt right and complete.

I love the fact that memory keeping gets the photos out of the camera and into albums that people look through.
