My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is keeping records of everyday events that will hopefully be interesting to future generations of our family. My ancestors were not real big journal keepers, but the ones I have read are special to me and I hope what I can put on paper will be precious to someone in the future.

I'm putting together an album named "The Sweetest Things" that is filled with all the little notes, cards, words and pictures my kids have made for my husband and I. They are 7 and 9 and I've been saving every little post-it, note and gem that they have written since they could hold a pencil. I love the way it's turing out and the way the whole process is bringing back so many memories.

Seeing my kids' faces when they look through their scrapbooks especially when I've been angry with them, they open them up and are reassured that they are so loved.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is the story it tells and how I will be able to share those stories with my daughter as she gets older. She's only two right now, but I've documented her playdates and some fun activities she's done. I think it will be neat for her to look back on that when she's a little older.

It's important to me to keep memories right now because my children are getting older by the minute. My mother died when I was very young and I don't have anything left from when I was a child. I want to give that to my kids and be able to look back on it myself. Memories have become a very important healing tool when a family member dies, be it an animal or a relative. It's heart warming to remember the good ol' times.

My favorite thing about memory keeping being able to live in the now and know that no matter how crazy and hectic things can get...even with how quickly time passes by, you'll have it all to look back on. With my daughter just turning 9 and my son approaching 4 it reminds me how fast it goes and how happy I am that I have put my time into this wonderful hobby!! The payoff is priceless!

Hi Ali - My favorite part of memory keeping is being able to go back and revisit happy times with family members that have passed away (like my Mom who died a few months ago) and reminding me to keep up so that my girls have a fuller picture of our family for the years ahead. Thanks for your inspiration!

My fav thing right now is celebrating my 50th birthday year. Its an "All about me" year. I have been working on a book that is divided into chapter scrap pages for each month, with notes, pics, fun things I have done along with changes, etc to coinside with my word of the year: joy... because its all about taking a 50 year journey for me. I am a mom, and wife, and work outside the home, and grab a slice of time for me sporatically. So,this year as I celebrate good health and good life at 50, I come first. (Majorly hard to do) God bless!

My favorite part of memory keeping right now is documenting life with my husband now before we have kids. I love looking back at pictures of my parents before my brothers and I were born and seeing what they looked like and what they did. I think it will be interesting for our future children to see what we were doing before they came along.

I am not a chron scrapper but last week I realized just how behind I am (for me at least). I got into a grove and scrapped 9 layouts this weekend. I really loved reliving each moment and found myself smiling and laughing many, many times. It was awesome!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I am very aware of keeping track of the hilarious things my kids do and say. The other night my 4 year old picky eater decided to have italian dressing on his spinach salad. For the rest of the meal he could not stop talking about how good his "stallion" dressing was. He ate every bit of salad and then poured his extra dressing on his chicken and ate every bite of that. My two, not usually picky eaters both complained about their dinner. It was a very entertaining dinner! And now EVERY one in our entire family knows that we don't have italian dressing anymore! Only Stallion Dressing for us!!

Ooooh, I love that kit. It's so pretty... not my usual style, but sooooo pretty.
And my favourite thing about memory-keeping right now... my kids are growing and changing so fast. I love that I am journalling about the things they say and the way they make me feel right now. Because I know, as much as I think these are such special times, I won't remember with all the vivid details a year from now. Because there will be other new, exciting things filling my days between now and then. :)

I scrapbook because I love to look back and remember tidbits of the past that I would have otherwise forgotten... I have also met so many wonderful people that have truly touched my heart. I can't imagine my life without scrapbooking. My friend has this kit and was using it this weekend and I feel in love with it...
