Right now I'd say my favorite part is playing with new combinations of textures, colors and patterns on a small scale. I've been doing a lot of home redecorating, and doing a room is a lot more intimidating than doing a page, so it helps to "practice" first on a smaller scale. :)

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is the freedom I'm feeling to make my scrapbook what ever I want it to be. Getting rid of the pressure for it to look a certain way, just my style, telling the story the way I think it should be told!

Over the weekend, my husband and I visited a friend who just had a baby. He was so tiny! Our son is only 2, but it seems that we had already forgotten the days when he was first born. The rest of the weekend was spent going through all the albums from my son's birth until now. The best part-my husband turning towards me after going through and reading all the journaling and saying "thank you". He knows that our family will be able to relive these moments because we have captured the photos and stories. At that moment, it was no longer about how much money I spend on supplies!!! (heehee). Thanks for the giveaway and for all the ideas you always share on your blog. Tracy

I love the quiet time it gives me to reflect on the moments and experiences in my life. I love sharing them with other people too. Even my brother couldn't wait to review last year's reunion album. That says something:) I love coming to your blog.
Thanks,
Kara

My favorite thing about scrapbooking is digital scrapbooking. I've fallen in love with all the beautiful papers, brushes, etc.
Another favorite thing now and always will be is to never forget life at age 1,2,3,4 for my son. Since children grow so fast, I at least will have documentation of his life, what he said, etc.
I began scrapbooking after the birth of my son. If it wasn't for getting into scrapbooking, I probally wouldn't have bought my third digital camera.

The thing I LOVE about memory keeping right this minute is that our story is always changing and I'm so so blessed to have it all documented. It seems like just looking back two weeks things have changed. I love how my family even changes color (tan skin from being at the beach, etc.) through out the summer. It's all so precious!!
Thanks for the opportunity for a give away!

Thanks for the chance! My favorite moment is my 10 year old niece recently looked at some of my LO's of our times together and loved them, and ask for copies to have for herself..so she won't forget that moment ever! It makes it worth it!

I love how my children pose for the pictures and take them themselves and wait for the albums to be made. I like the 'memory making'.

My favorite thing right now is finding a picture--just a plain old picture--that sparks something in me. It is so satisfying to tell something really personal that puts the picture into context. It's not just two old people standing by a tiny rosebush...it's my grandparents standing by a rosebush that was transplanted to three different houses before I had my picture taken with it--fifteen years later--as a toddler.

I love how scrapbooking brings my family closer together. We sit on the sofa and flip through albums reminiscing about the very special times we have shared together and it can't help but bring a smile to our faces and joy to our hearts!

I love how scrapbooking has changed so radically from 10 years ago. I love how my 2 boys, who are growing like weeds, love to look through their albums and read and see all about their lives growing up. My mom passed away when I was very young so I love that I am recording these memories that they will have forever.

My favorite part of memory keeping right now is, well, a few things... I am a graphic designer who has decided to stay home and raise my children. This is the perfect outlet for me since I don't work now. And just being able to capture all of those everyday events/moments that seem to slip by so quickly!

My favorite thing - being able to sit down and relive the moment, whether my daughters birth, a birthday pary, etc. My husband & I sat down the other night and did just that with our Hawaii album, could imagine ourselves there, memoribilia, maps, photos, notes ~ so much so that we are now dreaming of going back!

I am two years behind with scrapbooking my wedding. But, everytime I look at those pictures, a flood of wonderful memories washes over me, and it's like I'm re-living that most memorable day in small increments.
