Right now, with 3 kids, ages 9, 11 and 17, my favorite thing about memory keeping is realizing 2 things...One, that my kids are still kids. No matter who says "Oh, your kids are older!", like certain things that apply only to "kids" don't apply somehow to me?! Yes, they still do! Recording memories with words and photos and their art work make me realize even more that my kids are still KIDS. And two, memory keeping forces me to slow down. Slow down, think, create, relive...remember. That's never a bad thing!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now? My kids are now 13, 11, and 5 and my parents and siblings live across the country so they haven't gotten to see the kids as they have grown up in person. By making albums for them, posting layouts to blogs and through e-mail, I have made sure they haven't missed a thing. Especially the little things that I now pay special attetion to since becoming a scrapbooker.

Honestly, my favorite thing right now is the products. I am in a scrapbooking slump at the moment and I seem to just be collecting products. So hopefully inspiration will strike soon!

The best part of memory keeping is that it makes me STOP and re-live the moments that I'm scrapping and to enjoy them all over again. And to know that the people I love will get a chance to re-live and experience it themselves by flipping through the pages in the future, is a wonderful, fulfilling feeling. I've only been scrapping, or shall we say, memory keeping for the past two years. However, I've been keeping little bits of momento's here and there for as long as I can remember. These "keepsakes" are now included in my scrapbooks and am LOVING it. I knew there had to be a purpose in keeping all these odd & ends. No one understood it, no one understood why I would keep a bus ticket from another city or a movie pass of a favorite movie....but now they do.
Thank you for your inspiration, I visit your blog daily...it's an addiction..LOL. This is the first time I'm leaving a comment, don't know why? but felt compelled to write!!! Thanks again :D

Ali, thanks for the great chance to win this giveaway!
My favorite thing about memory keeping is the chance to do just that -- keep my memories. I love to record my feelings, memories of an event, information about things I would otherwise forget. I also love the creative aspect. And it's fun to work with beautiful papers and embellishments.

I love to write down the funny or sweet things my kids say. If I don't write it down, it get's lost. Keeping their quotes to me is is like saving little pieces of their childhood. I haven't yet put them into more meaningful collections, with photos and all, but I definitely plan to find a good way to do that.

My favorite part of scrapbooking right now is documenting all the funny things my twins of 4½ are saying. Some things are priceless.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is...I've been keeping memories of the little happy things. I started trying to put down on a page what simple thing struck me about that day, and it's not a birthday or a special celebration, but a good memory to keep. Sometimes the little ones are quickly forgotten.

Mini-books have become my new favorite thing mostly because I can make them with my DD. She loves looking at the photos and remembering our summer trips. It's instant journaling. =)

Memory keeping to me is about let my kids and their future in touch with where they came from, their traditions, their families, and with the love I feel for them. It is also a reminder to me to cherish them and their lives. Laura D.

Oooo, I LOVE that MM Passport line! It's one of my ABSOLUTE favs rights now! Which leads me to what my favorite thing about sb'ing/memory making these days is the creativity. Though it can be frustrating getting to that point I LOVE the feeling when something FINALLY comes together! There's nothing like the feeling of actually being HAPPY with something you've created.

Best part of memory keeping for me is being able to be creative as that is my passion in life. With that being my passion in life, my children and one day my children's children will be able to enjoy all my hard work! :)

Hi Ali ~ My favorite "thing" about scrapbooking is the cool way that scrappers can share so much through their pages and their blogs. I get great ideas from people I heve never met but share the same desire to capture lifes moments, big or small.

My Dad passed away in Jan. All of our family and friends couldn't believe how many picutes and memories we had to share and display...

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is getting to discover myself. After scrapping everyone in my family for years, I have neglected scrapping me and archiving the thoughts, feelings & experiences that hopefully someday will be important to my children and their children...the very things I don't don't have from my mother that I wish I had.

What drives me at the moment is the budding relationship between my daughters (4 & 1). Now that the baby is big enough to interact, they are getting into all sorts of mishief together.
Thanks for the offer!
