Keeping track of all the cute new words my two year old is learning - I don't want to forget a thing, so I write everything in my planner :)

My favorite and always have been is that scrapping is simply my way of keeping our family journal with pictures. What could be better than that? ;)

What a beautiful kit! My favorite thing right now is keeping track of all the little things my son is experiencing so we can share the memories with him when he is older.

I lost my mom when I was only 4 years old. There weren't many pictures of her or myself growing up. I love scrapbooking because I can pass onto my own kids their "history". Someone mentioned earlier how they love to see their kids faces as they look through the albums--that is what I love.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is the excitement that my kids have about my scrapbooks! They are so excited for me to scrapbook their activities - they are so used to it that they will ask me "do you need this xxxx (like a ticket stub,e tc) for your scrapbook?" - the best part is that they know all of this and they are only 4 and 6 years old!!

My favorite thing right now is that I'm documenting more and more "everyday" things...like making cookies, shaping things with clay, whatever the kids are up to. I so wish my mom had taken pictures of our family doing these little things. I also love that my girls just asked recently to get out their adoption books and wanted to sit and look at them with me...nothing sweeter!

My favorite thing about memory keeping is making connections - realizing how much my oldest son is like my youngest. Or discovering that my daughter has many of my habits from my teenage years. I took Stacy Julian's LOM class this year and it has been absolutely thrilling to start seeing all these most important memories.

i loooove that no matter what i create my family will always love and cherish whatever it is that i am creating. that means that in the moment, i can create for myself, i can play all i want and have fun with it, still knowing my family is going to love what i have created.
love that.

My favorite thing right now is making sure that I'm preserving all of the little everyday things that my kiddos are doing - they are only little for a short time and I don't want to miss 1 little thing!!! I document everything :)

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is organizing and remembering. I've been trying to get my space, my supplies, and my photos in some sort of order. I love looking through my unsorted pictures and just remembering. I love scrapbooking the moments and seeing some of these old photos let me reminisce about this or that. An instant in time that I will never forget. My second favorite thing? Sharing these memories. It's such a rush to finish a page and share it with someone who was in the moment too. I love to see their face light up or burst out in laughter or tears because they, too, are reliving that moment.

My favorite thing is doing less of it! I have given myself permission to do fewer layouts in my children's books. The layouts that I do have more meaning and story to them and I won't have to house 18 scrapbooks for each of my three children.

I recently did some of the albums holding my families genealogical history. We had gotten everything together back in early 1990's but then grandma died and then my mom. Now I am doing the albums and I don't know the names etc. So I am glad I did these and am in the process of doing more, so my children and theirs too will have the stories to go with the pictures in an album.
Just the random thoughts that come from observing photos.

My favorite thing right now is getting to share the memories I'm keeping with others. In fact, I'm making my cousin and his wife an album of their wedding right now! It makes me so happy that I can do this for them!
