I love it that my kids are so excited to see what I've done, then start talking about, oh yea remember when... Plus I'm doing more recent stuff which is more fun anyway! I love that I've switched to binder albums and it is so much easier to skip around and scrap what I feel like and not be tied to working in order.
Thanks for all the inspiration!

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is scrapbooking about the little things. The ones you forget the easiest. Mostly about my son, but while working on his pages I try to remember my own little things. And step by step I remember some of them. O, how I wished that my mother had discovered scrapbooking. Because of your blog story about your grandmother Cathy I have started to write my own story and that helps so much with remembering my little things. For this inspiration I thank your grandmother Cathy and I thank you for sharing her story.

Woohoo! How fun. My favorite thing right now is doing character pages-pages that show, through pic and words/quotes, what the people in my life are really like. I really enjoy this kind of page because it goes beyond the "event".

The most important thing for me right now is document today - I still have to go back to the past - but if I started from the back - I would never get to today - and each day going forward is important too.

What a fun kit, thanks for sharing.
My favorite part of memory keeping is remembering a story that might otherwise be forgotten and making it pretty with pictures and paper.

I think the best thing about memory keeping is that I am leaving tangible evidence of the love I feel for the important people in my life.

My favorite thing right now is taking my favorite pictures and scrapping those. I'm focusing much more on the great stories and photos rather than events. The other thing I've enjoyed lately is pulling out product that I've purchased and finding a photo to go with that. It's a way of working backwards for me and makes me think in an entirely different way.

After losing a family member, I know know how important it is to preserve memories of everyday moments- happy times, sad times, silly moments, et all.

my two favorite things about scrapbooking are:
1. looking back, especially at albums I made as a very young child, with letters and cards from my great-grandparents pasted on pulp pages, as well as every valentine I received in second grade!
And 2. spending time sorting photos and thinking about the people/events they represent.
Thanks, Ali!

My favourite part of memory keeping right now is being able to sit with my kids and look back at my albums, and say "remember this". Without this wonderful hobby I wouldn't have the opportunity to do that, the photos would be stored away from view.

Hi,
My favorite thing about memeory keeping right now is I feel like it keeps me grounded in what is truly important. Life can get so busy and sometimes not in good ways. I feel like looking at my families faces or capturing moments that are truly special keep me focused on why I am a wife, mom , friend. It can pull you through tough moments and help you truly enjoy the great ones. Mary G

We have had terrible weather for the past couple of years in the UK so my favourite thing about memory keeping right now is the joy of summer, we are enjoying a rare heatwave here which presents glorious photo opportunities and wonderful memories. Carpe Diem - I hear thunderstorms are due!

My favorite thing is to hear my family say (even though they laugh sometimes at my photo taking and roll their eyes) 'take a photo of this - this would be a good shot.' They will also joke about my scrapbooks but then ask to see them. To know they really do love it all makes me feel so good!

I used to plan layouts in my head for days, before actually doing it. Now, I try to just relax and live in the moment. Take a picture and just scrap away!!

The best thing? Telling my husband that we "have to get out" - so i have something to scrapbook. Its as simple as going to a park, stepping out for ice cream, and/or being part of the community.

I love to make mini books as gifts. The memories I have with friends and family I make them gifts for them.
