My favorite thing about memory keeping is capturing the moments that normally would be forgotten. Also when you give someone a gift of a mini album...it's such a personal gift...one that shows how much you love them...I love giving them out because its like sharing your memories with your loved ones all over again...but this time from your point of view.

Hi Ali,
My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is that I finally feel like doing it again. I quit scrapbooking completely in November of last year when I found out I was getting a divorce. My two young children and I moved out on our own and are starting a life over as a smaller but happier family. In the last two months my desire to get back to scrapbooking and memory keeping has finally returned and I am so glad it has. I really missed it. My only regret is that during my hiatus from memory keeping I didn't take many photos either. I feel almost as if I have missed out on several months of my childrens lives which makes it that much better that I'm back in the swing of things now! I love reading your blog and missed it among others during my "time off" from scrapbooking. Glad to be back reading it again. Take care.

My favorite thing is recording all the cute (and not-so-cute) things my 11-month-old does.

My favorite part about memory keeping right now is having my 5 year old son tell me his dreams or funny stories and writing them down. It never fails to amaze me how he can take an idea and put a 5 year old twist to it. I found these great Mead composition notebooks to put it all in. They are blank on the top half of the page and lined for kids on the bottom half. He gets to practice his writing and loves it. I usually have to read each of his stories back to him several times. It's fun for us all. I am going to start printing some pictures from his little digi camera and having him tell me stories about the pictures too.

With a two-year old and a new baby, my days go by in a blur. I love that I can record things that happen in my days through words and pictures so I can re-live those memories when I have time to enjoy them to the fullest.

My favorite thing right now is recording all of the milestones, big and small, of my 6-month-old son. It's so fun to watch him learn and grow, and I don't want to forget any of it!

Since becoming a Mom, I've noticed that my memory has faded faster by the year...my favorite thing about memory keeping is being able to capture those memories before they disappear. An excuse to be creative is a pretty close second though! :)

My favorite part about memory keeping is hearing stories from the past (my Dad is a great story-teller and was a wild kid, so has great stories to tell) and then seeing the places many of those stories took place (and of course taking pictures!). It's important to record those stories so that a legacy is left for future generations.

My favorite thing right now is scrapping with my daughters/friends. It is so much fun to spend time with the people I love creating art. As I am creating, I reflect on the pictures and what they really mean to me. It is a much more emotional now than when I first started. I love this thing we call scrapbooking!!!!

What a FABULOUS give-away! My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is the way it connects us scrappers in the one thing we love doing, let it be telling stories, or playing with supplies, basicly having fun! And it also gives me the chance to capture on paper how i feel about people, and let them know how much they mean to me. Thanks for sharing your stories Ali!

Right now, my favorite thing about memory keeping is the chance to look back and see how far my loved ones and I have come. Sometimes, in the day to day, it can be easy to forget how much things have changed for better or worse. Looking back at those memories helps me to evaluate where I am and where I want to be.

My favorite thing is the process of memory keeping right now. It's taking a break from daily life to make something and record what is happening right now.

Right now my favorite thing about memory keeping is going back and reflecting on my life. Especially the last three years I spent as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Man, I need to keep those memories with me forever.

Oh gosh...my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is when I look over my pictures and journaling and go "I totally forgot all about that!" and end up reliving that memory all over again.

My favorite thing right now about memory keeping is how much my kids love to look at their books. It is so much fun to look at all the finished pages with them.
