Ooooohhhh.... I can't wait to read and look at your new book! I absolutely love mini books because they seem so much more attainable to complete! My favorite one so far is of this summer - we did so much, it justified its own book! :o)
Smiles!

Can't wait to get your new book! My recent mini album is my fave to date. It's about my pregnancy after a 12-year wait to have another baby. I documented the ups and downs of the good news, the concerns of the risks, and the blessings of a healthy baby.

My most recent favorite mini-book was a birthday gift for my mother. On my last trip home I took pictures of her parents and all her siblings and also of her grandkids each holding "Happy Birthday, JaneAnn" signs. I scrapped those in a mint tin mini-album and she LOVED it :)

I just finished a mini book about what each color represents (red - love, yellow - friendship, etc.). For pictures, I used older photos of my oldest daughter where she is wearing a shirt or something that has the color to which I'm referring. For example, for orange, my daughter was wearing an orange pumpkin Halloween outfit (her first Halloween costume!). I'm thrilled about this mini book for two reasons: 1) I got to use older pictures that were just sitting around, and 2) My daughter was tickled pink that the book was about her and only her.

I have only made 2 mini books so far - a vacation one and a brag book for my mom. Now that I'm pregnant, I hope to make a pregnancy mini book with pictures of the ultrasounds and belly shots. :)

I am ITCHINg for this book!!!
My newest mini-book will be photos of my mother across the years. She turns 80 this year and I have some beautiful photos all ready for the project.
Can't wait for some inspirational ideas regarding a simple, effective approach.
Thanks, Ali, for the opportunity...

My favorite minibook is one I did using your template on Weekend Creative. It is a felt valentine book I made for my hubby. :)
Your book looks beautiful!

I took a camera class that was a walk around Sausalito CA and then I put the pics in a mini album created by using old CD's. A little tricky fitting the photos on the circles but a fun one

My favorite mini book is one I made for my son who moved to Arizona (from Michigan). He came home for a visit and I did a book about everything we did when he was home and wrote him a message in the back about how much I missed him. I mailed it to him within about a month of his visit and he loved it.

I am planning on doing a minibook with pictures of my two oldest daughters throughout the years. All pictures of them together to remind them just how much they really do like each other!

My friend in England and I are going to have our 5 year old boys exchange pictures of our boys with their paper "flat stanley" on adventures we go on. We are then going to put the pictures in a mini-album. A modern day pen pal for our young boys. Can't wait to see your new book up close and personal!!

Ali--I can't wait to see your new book. I love seeing your ideas for mini books. My favorite mini book is the "What Cancer Cannot Do" books that I make for my patients (I'm an oncology nurse) who are newly diagnosed. It's a fold out book with the poem included. It's small and they can keep it close to be reminded of what the horrible disease called "cancer" is NOT capable of.

I've made a hybrid mini-book with CDs & several others of our DIL's baby shower. They turned out well & the recipients loved them, as they don't do digi.

I'm just getting into minibooks and I love being able to tell a story without using up several pages in our family album. Right now I am working on a minibook about camping - we did a lot of camping this summer with our 3 girls. Can't wait to see your new book!

My favourite mini book right now is one that is always in process. It's called People I Love and I emailed all my friends/family and asked for three likes and three dislikes. Each page has a photo of person and their answers. It's fun!
