The favorite mini-book I did was a few years ago and it was an "All About Me" project. It was a suggested project with all the supplies given to us at a class at CKC-Portland. It sat in my office for about 6 months....then I finally decided to bite the bullet and do it "about me". It was a lot of fun! It was also great to document things like "my most embarrassing moment"....spraying ketchup all over the walls in a restaurant on one of my first dates with my now husband of 12 years.

You for sure have influenced my love for making mini books. I think the first mini book I ever made was 2 years ago from your prompt about 5 favorite things. Since then, I can't get enough!
Here's the link my most recent Favorite Mini Book I've made! It's a class I'm teaching and it's also orderable as a kit - Deets & pictures in the link below.

Not too long ago you did a mini for Simon that used the kit of the month from CK that had the envelopes and inserts and stuff. It said "Because I love you" and I immediately set about making one for each of my kids. Such a simple expression of caring that's so individual. Thanks for the great idea. I'd love more inspiration from your new book.

I've been working on one for last Christmas--one that I had set to work on through the holidays, and then the holidays happened. I'd love to know how to better prepared and get them finished up.

My favorite is a little book I did about a trip to Toronto we took. The book was from a CKU 7 Gypsies class and it had sat on my shelf for about 3 years until I came up with the idea to use it. Love it!

I've been thinking about it forever, but have yet to start: a minibook of grateful moments. Those little moments that make you feel like your "cup runneth over", like when we were driving home late in 1994 and noticed a meteor shower, pulled over and laid in the grass watching it.
I don't have photos for most of those moments, but I always feel inspired when I think of them. I figure I can use other photos to illustrate the mood/theme or people in the stories of those little moments.
Maybe your book would be the perfect motivation to get this started:-)

I absolutely love mini books that is where I started in scrapbooking along with making all my own cards, so the next mini I have in mind is a travel/collection album that I will take with me on our trip to San Diego in November. It will help me keep a record of all the cool things we see and do plus keep all the ticket stubs, maps, etc. in one place. I'm excited about it as well as your new book, can't wait to get my hands on it. Congrats on the new baby also-so happy for you, Chris, and Simon!

I did a mini-book inspired by your December Daily album for the first 30 days of my son's life. Hope to do one for his first Advent, too!

My favorite mini book so far would have to be the one I made for our cross-country trip this past February (from Maryland to California). I took supplies to do it along the way and got my kids to help out with picking out the little extras we found along the way like post cards and ticket stubs. It was a fun family project.

My favorite mini book is one about our pet kitten. I made it with my daughter and it is really sweet. I have just as special memories about making it with her as I do with the images we used!
Thank you for the chance to win your book.

Hi Ali,
I am so excited about your new book! Especially because I love doing mini albums - they make such great gifts.
Recently my mother (who has never scrapbooked before) asked me to help her with a mini album for my aunt - it was so much fun to share my hobby with my mom and then to see my aunts reaction when she opened it!

I am really excited to make a "Home" mini-book about the many places my husband and I have lived since we got married. He was in the military for the first part and we have had quite a few moves since then as well, so I think it will be a fun one.
