My favorite mini book captured the pictures of our family beach vacation. I gave it to my mother in law right before she underwent surgery for breast cancer. She loved it and the photos really helped her through a difficult time.

We lost my Dad to cancer over 6yrs ago, and now I feel it's time and I'm ready to create a mini dedicated to my memories of him! I'm still in the planning stages, gathering what few photos I can find and writting my memories as they come in a notebook. I think it will be something my children will cherish, it will teach them who their Papa was.

My favorite minibook I've made is the one that I barely embellished. It's photos of us out on the boat/beach with my parents. It is just photos with white rub-on letters. It's so simple and so beautiful.

I am working on a mini album for my dad's 75th birthday on September 2nd. It was fun taking pictures of family because they knew the pictures were for Pop.

I'm just starting on mini-books and so far I have completed 3. :-) My favorite is the one I made on our Texas trip this summer. Inspired by your travel Amsterdam 2005 mini-book (Creating Keepsakes Mar 2006) & photo + words, I kept it to the basics. Although it was tempting to use my embellishment stash I limit to using only the stuff I collected on the trip. It's fun making a mini-book on a wonderful family trip. Thanks for the inspiration!

I am planning of creating a mini book about our family traditions on holidays & birthdays... My kids started talking the other day about things that we do at certain times of the year and it got me thinking about traditions so we have been writing them down.. It's been fun to remember and it makes us laugh remembering... Renee'

I haven't done any mini books yet, but I plan on doing one on our camping trip in the San Juan Mts we took this summer. I'm sure your new book will give me inspiration for my 1st mini book.

My favorite mini-book project by far is photo album scrapbooks (promoted by Simple Scrapbooks). I completed two 2-up albums for my mother-in-law who lives far away from us so she could keep up with the changes in the kids. I would put one or two decorated journaling/title panels in the page pockets for each two-page spread. It went so fast! Thanks for sharing your inspiration Ali!

I'm planning a mini album all about our house. I just picked up a Maya Road chipboard house and a key-chain album that fits inside. That's what I'll use for the project. Thanks for the great giveaway!

In 10 days I am starting an internship as a youth pastor, and I really want to do a mini-book with a page every few weeks, that charts my adventure, how I've changed and what I've learned.

I LOVE, LOVE your books!!!
My favorite mini album is one I just completed about the construction of our dream home. I spent 2 years planning and designing the book and then it took me a month to complete it. It was well worth the effort, though!

Ooo.. how generous!
I LOVE to make minis... but mostly as gifts. I spend this time and effort and make a beautiful piece and then have to part with it... so hard to do, but so worth it when you see the receipents expression!
I would love your new book for the inspiration to make a mini for me, maybe even about me, to keep!
Thanks Ali! :)

Although, very intrigued by the idea from your many blogs on the subject, I'd never made a mini book until Donna's Inspired workshop. We travel a fair bit and some trips require large albums, but many would be well served with a mini book. That's what I'm hoping to get started on...with inspiration from your latest book.

I am planning to do a mini-book of Favorites for my daughter so she can put it in her backpack. Hopefully this will help with her first few days in Kindergarten since she can't bring her 'kitty' and other favorite things to school with her (including pix of us!).
