I love mini albums. I like to make them for vacations and holidays. I just made one for our summer vacation and I put it in a little tin. It was super cute. My favorite of all time was the one that I made my husband for our first year of marriage and then one for our dating time.....it is a fav for us to go and look at and remember how much fun we had and to see how in love we were and just to remember how it all started. Thanks for the chance to win!

When my little guy was a baby I took pictures of him sleeping in different places - Target, grocery store, softball games, etc - and I put all of these sleepy pics together in a mini book. Its my favorite. Oh, I hope I win this idea book, it looks fabulous!

I'm currently making a minibook named '101 things about me'. I'm loving it, but it is a huge project. I have all the things I want to write about, but only made pages till number 7.
Congrats on your new book!

I did a mini book titled "Portraits of you by me" they consist of all the images I took of my first born that took my breath away. It was very simple, I took a pre-made book and add my pictures and very few "wordy" embellishments. I am so glad I did this because it is small enough I carry it around with me to remember those special moments when he was so new....he is now 4 :)
Your new book looks very inspiring.

I've been waiting for this book to be released! My daughter just had a "Legally Blonde" birthday party for her 8th birthday...so I plan on doing a minibook about that. I also have plans on some type of alphabet minibook for my 4 yr. old son who is currently letter-obsessed.

Don't know if it qualifies as a minibook, it's really more of an album that I did on my summer as an au pair in Ireland last year. That was my very first scrapbooking project, I completed it within days of arriving back home, was so completely inspired. It's my favourite for several reasons; both because it's what brought me into the world of scrapbooking and because I feel that the album really does my memories of that summer credit.
Love following your life through this blog, and although you've been truly inspiring this past year this is the first time I've left a comment. Guess that's what give aways does to you!

One of my favorite mini books is the first one I made. It was for my friends who were in the Peace Corps in Azerbaijan & it was filled with photos of fun memories together. :)

We are a military family, so I like to make mini books to send to our family that we are far away from. When my husband was in Korea all last year the kids and I made mini books to let him see what was happening while he was gone. We'll do the same when he goes to Iraq next April.

I am so excited to get this book! My friend Barb is queen of the minis and this summer we've been hanging out every Wednesday to get some scrapping done. Now that she's heading back to school I plan to create a mini of all our summer adventures.

OMG! I have so been waiting for this book Ali!!! My current idea of a mini book is to make one about our sons diagnosis with a rare developmental disability. I want it to be able to share our thoughts and feelings along the journey and be able to share it with our family, friends and other families we meet along the way with similar diagnosis.

I found that making a mini-book to document my daughter's 2nd birthday party was a great way to gather lots of photos in one place. And she loves looking through it too.

I made a mini book featuring my family and friends who attended my 35th birthday celebration. I had each guests answer a questionnaire and I took their picture for display next to it. It was simply, spur of the moment and we all learned something new about each other. I can't wait to get my hands on your new book for more great ideas, too!

Hi Ali,
Mini albums are the best! I can't wait to read this book!
My favourite mini book project was one I made for my sister in law. Just a little family album - with lots of inking, stamping, and I printed the photos onto fabric paper, too. It took quite a while to do (partly because I'm a slooooow scrapper), but turned out really great and she was completely thrilled with it. (I made her cry!)
