My favorite mini book is the one I created as an heirloom for my cousin with photos of our greatgrandparents, grandparents, and great-aunts and -uncles. Now that all of them are gone and he was never able to meet them it was like bridging time and introducing them to each other. I plan on making many more since I have been entrusted with most of the FAMILY pictures.

One of the mini books I am working on right now are word books that I had purchased that spell out baby, my husband is a photographer and has had a lot of little ones in the last few weeks. (Black & whites…my favorites) I think the photos are adorable, so me light bulb moment thought I’d put little books together for the mom’s for Christmas. I only wish someone would have done something like this for me, but right now those are my absolute favs!

I love minibooks and tend to do you work in them. I am doing a series of books for my latest trip to Alaska with the famous Mr. Holtz. I have done another entitled a few of my favorite things. A few years ago i took a class with Donna Downey and we made a great minibook using diecut envelopes which I loved and have made more since. Can't wait to check out your new book!!! Thank you for your creativity!

A mini-book that I'm planning to create is about favourite places that have meaning for my fiance and I ... and I'm making it do double duty.
We're getting married in a few weeks, so instead of table numbers, each table is going to noted by a place that is special to us ... like 'Our Home'. On one side of the tablecard will be the title/name of the place, with a picture of that place below it. On the back will be a brief story telling our guests why the place has a special spot in our lives. Then, after the wedding, I will take all the tablecards and bind them together, with a cover of course, so I have a mini-book of our special places that is also part of the story of our special day.
I can't wait to read 'Sharing Your Story' ... I loved Life Artist and love your blog. Such inspiration.

I am planning to start a mini book of my little boy's medical records with milestone pictures interspersed. I am tired of using the free sample booklet from the hospital!

My next mini-book is going to be one about the camping trip to Jasper that we took last week with our daughter, son-in-law and 2 year old granddaughter, Meadow. I want to make the book for Meadow using all the pictures I have of her in the backpack, hiking, watching the waterfalls and generally having fun with us. I know she'll love looking at it!
Thanks for sharing the goodness - I am very excited to absorb your book :))

Would love to win your book - love you and your style!
My favorite minibook is called "March Madness," and it contains the "Picture-a-day" project I did March, 2007. There's one pix on each page, a couple of bands of striped paper, a sticker or tag "title" and journaling. In many ways, it's a better snapshot of our lives than the two big scrapbooks from that year!

my favorite mini book is taking the 4x6 Index card Alphabet dividers and turning that into the album with 2 rings. I loved making each page apply to the letter it was on. thanks - tj

My favorite mini books have all been ones you have done. I actually have not completed one (yet) but I do have the supplies. Hopefully your new book will be a great jump start for me to get one done (finally!).

I have so many it is hard to say. I think the one that I made when I traveled to the East Coast in 2005. I have great memories of making that one. I journaled every morning about the previous day's events. My fav memory of doing that was while camping in MA over looking the ocean drinking my hot tea before anyone else was up and moving.

I am planning on creating a mini-book of my new baby's first year. I'll use one page for each month, so it will be a lot less detailed than his regular scrapbook, but it will be a nice thing to have on display on the coffee table.

I want to make a couple of minis - one about my mom and one about my dad. I was thinking about turning them into one book opening in the middle with one side for mom and the other for dad.

MiniBooks! Love 'em!! Folks can look at them in a short time period and the covers usually catch your eye. My fav at the moment is one I did for my friends at Christmas last year. "All About Me" by Stacy Julian. I made gift baskets with lots of initial items and included their minibook. They loved them.
