I LOVE creating mini books. The most recent favorite of mine is the one of made of my parents over the years for their 40th wedding anniversary. It was lots of fun looking at the older photos especially! Thanks for the fun giveaway!

My favorite mini book that I have created is one called "words to live by" and it is a project i made that incorporated my fiancee and I and a collection of our engagement pictures. With each page I chose a certain word and how I want that certain word to fit into our lives and marraiage (ex. faith, love, honesty, laughter etc.) On one page I had placed the picture with a layout and on the next page is where I did my detailed journaling. It is really one of the most special projects I have ever completed and definitly one of my mini albums I hold very near and dear to my heart.

I want to make a mini book of the wines we have made. We used to make quite a few when we were in Michigan close to a meadery where they'd help you. Now that we've moved...not so much.

I love mini books. I find myself making them frequently. My favorite one, hands down, has got to be the interactive mini book I make about my youngest daughters stay in the NICU. She is almost three now and I caught her looking at it the other day and she was crying. I asked what was wrong and as she pointed at herself hooked to all the machines, she sweetly looked at me and softly said "Mommy, I so sad the baby hurt real bad." I didn't have the heart to tell her right then that the baby was her. I just told her the baby was all better. It is amazing the power a scrapbook has.

I am planning on doing some mini-books of stories from a long time before I started scrapbooking... a good way to tackling the dreaded box of pictures. I want to pull out the really special ones, so I am going to start with when we got engaged in 1990. Project is slated for this Sunday, I just have to pick out the pictures!

I love mini-albums. My favorite is the infertility one that is a work in progress. It's been very nice to get my thoughts and feelings down as I'm experiencing them. Very theraputic, and I'll enjoy looking at it later on in life when I hopefully have a baby. :-)

I am about to make a mini book of important pieces of jewelry in my family and their story. We are not rolling in diamonds, but I do have my gran's engagement ring, various lockets with photos, my great aunt's wedding band, various watches and then a few bits of jewelry with significance for me. In this way my daughter will understand what all the bits and pieces are when she inherits my jewelry box!
Can't wait for this book!

Thanks for the chance to win your new book! My favorite mini book project is one I did a couple of years ago about "My 5 Favorites". It will be fun to look back years from now and see what my favorites were in 2006. :)

My favorite minibook project is an accordion album I did of our Kids New Years Eve party. For some reason we decided to host a party for our (then) 4 children and their friends, and it was CRAZY!! We love looking at the book and remembering and laughing about it. What were we thinking??

The mini book that I have in the planning stage is one about my grandma and I want to include her handwritten recipes that I have and stories about meals she made for us as well as how she helped feed many in her community. I'm also having my dad write about his memories of her cooking and the victory garden she kept durning the war. I would love to win your new book to help me with more ideas.
Thanks

I am looking forward to your new book, Ali ! A few years ago when my daughter was 12 I asked her to write a list of "100 Things That Make Me Happy". I made a mini-album about it, using a 5"x7" Bazzill zip album. I listed 5 things per page x 20 pages, and 1 photo per page. I love how it captures this little slice of her life at that age. I took it in to my lss one day and the ladies working there cried when they read it !

The book is not available where I live in Canada yet, so a copy would be great!! I recently made a minibook for my son that has some pieces of advice in . The layout was an idea I got from you, Ali, and it looks real nice, thanks!! If I do not win a book, then I will definitely buy it (once it gets here of course!!)

I love mini books! The first one I ever made was 2 years ago. Now, I'm currently making a mini book for my boss. I work for a tv network and it's basically mini snippets/behind the scenes of our daily lives working for a tv network/for a particular tv show. It's a nice way to look back at certain memorable events.
Looking forward to your new book :)

I love mini books! My latest favorite is one i made to store and share the stories of the machine pressed pennies I get on vacations {the machines with the cranks, stick in 50cents and a penny and you get a design rolled out on the penny}. I decorated the pages and adhered a small 2x2 inch clear bag for the penny and write the story of when, where, and why i got that penny.

My favorite mini-book that I've made was a little 7Gypsies one I made with photos from a long weekend in Louisville last fall. I'm also doing a mini right now based on questions from one of those e-mail quizzes that are forwarded from friends.

Right now I am gathering photos to create a book of my mother-in-law with each of her 12 Grandchildren. She passed away 3 weeks ago from breast cancer. She always wanted her grandchildren to remember that she loved them, so I'm hoping this book will help. I'm thinking of trying a digital book so I can easily print 12. I want each child to have one. She was a speacil lady- we're going to miss her!
