Hello Ali!
I just finished a mini book on my kid's first trip to the beach. We live in the middle of the country so they won't get to visit it very often. However, they love to be able to sit down with the mini book and remember all the fun they had at the beach. :)
Looking forward to this new book of yours. I am really enjoying the process of making mini books. It's really gotten me back in the recording of my family's memories.
Have a great day!
Amy

Hi Ali,
I was recently removing photos from old magnetic album. Something really popped out at me.
When we visited my dad on weekends, we always seemed to have photos by the 'Orange Door' (front door).
I have so many photos of us kids at different ages with that crazy orange door!
I've decided to a mini book about the orange door. I can't wait to start it!

I have 2 books that are together, waiting for photos. Both will hold the ttv (through the viewfinder) photos I've taken in the past 2 weeks.
TTV is when you take an older camera, in my case I use a Kodak Duaflex II, and shoot photos through it's viewfinder. So I use my Canon Digi Rebel to take the photo. It's pretty neat and you can find more info on it at http://www.russmorris.com/ttv/

My favorite mini books are the ones I made for my daughter and niece that followed their trip through Europe with their grandfather when they were 8 and 9 (they are now in their 30's and their grandfather is deceased). He took them to see their great aunts who were in their 80's where they spent about half their trip. He left a wonderful journal where he wrote what they did everyday, what they ate, their reactions to everything (they were gone two weeks). I found pictures, slides, and I'd saved 'stuff' that my daughter had brought home including her plane ticket and passport, napkins, receipts, brochures, etc. The girls had written postcards home that I'd saved also. I made the books as a surprise for them and I think they were.

First - I'm SO excited for this book! For the past four years, I lived in Philadelphia and just recently moved away. I'm planning a mini book dedicated to all the "places in philly" that I loved - from the more mundane (my neighborhood grocer, the YMCA) to the more historical/touristy (city hall, the Italian market, art musuem). I have so many pics and memories, I can't wait to get started.

When you scrapbook, you tend to tell the stories of those in your life. Often you forget to share your story. Whata great book idea!
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity

My favorite mini book was actually created following a challenge from you to create a 5 favorite things book. I did a 5 favorites of fall book that I really like. It's simple... papers of the same color pallate (same line even, which is rare for me) with B&W photos and quotes that speak to me. I put it out in a prominant location every September - November and then it is close by my desk the rest of the year. http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/pg.asp?cmd=display&layout_id=992701

Thank you for the chance to win your book:)
My favorite mini book is one that I've made of bible verses - and scenery photos that I've taken throughout the county. I've kept a simple template and it is easy to add to the book.

My favorite mini book idea is a mini-book about my two amazing friends from the US who came over for my wedding here in Germany. It was so very special to have them here, help with the preparations, talk, laught and make special memories together.
The other idea is to make a mini-book about DH and my first apartment together.
Hope you are all doing well!

My favourite is a clear acrylic album that I did. I was sooo scared to do it, and by the time it was done, I think it was one of my all time favourite projects I have EVER done! I used a Rusty Pickle Scallop edge clear book and mainly the MM lov3 story line!

I am eagerly awaiting your new book! I just finished a minibook about my dog, Honor. I am all about minibooks lately! Every class I took at CKC Charlotte two weeks ago was a minibook class...and I took 12 classes!
Today is my birthday...how cool would it be to win!?!?

My grandaughter is leaving tomorrow for a semester in the Ukraine. She will be teaching english to a class of 3 & 4 year olds. This is such an adventure for her, I want to cronicle her journey in a mini book for her to keep forever. I love the concept of a 6x6 book, faster and easier to complete than a large album.

Wow, what a great giveaway. I read your blog every week and I love it! I'm planning to make a mini-album of the making of my new atelier/scraproom. We start out of scratch (the garden) and now we have 4 walls and a roof :-). It's going to be a great place.

i have literally 3 mini books planned/going right now- my 35th bday was a surprise trip to Vegas, baby and I want to glue a 1$ dollar poker chip to the front. Then I have a friendship mini that I'm putting together for my oldest friend but how do you put 18 18 years of friendship into a mini book??, and then my daughter's 4 year old pool party and festivities which I have started only by covering some chip board in blue cardstock and bought pool stickers. baby steps!:-)
