I am currently working on a mini-book of our engagement photos so that our guests can look at the mini-book on the day of our big wedding ceremony. In that book, I am including phrases from our actual ceremony to highlight those little things that are special to us...
I would LOVE to win a copy of the book! Random number generator, please PICK ME!

Looking forward to checking out your new book! I've got two mini books in the works right now -- one is a A-Z of our puppy that's almost done and the other I'm looking forward to starting is a first year mini of favorite pictures of my 3 mo. old nephew (can't wait to start that one!)

I am so excited about this book! I work at a scrapbooking store and everyone has been asking when it will be in! My favorite mini-book may not be my most beautiful book, but it is the most meaningful to me. It documents a journey to San Francisco, where my husband and I had the privilege to experience the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education. We learned from the conference and the city. Our hearts grew there.

P.S. I'll post pictures of this album on my blog, bare-rosavert.blogspot.com tonight.

I would LOVE to get my hands on this book. I was always resistent to mini-books until recently. I made one for my DD about out trip to Sesame Place and she loved it, and I loved watching her relive our vacation everytime she looks through it...which is Everyday!
Now I need ideas on more to create.

The next mini-book I have in the works is a baby's first year type. Just words + photos(!) to show how she has grown. A favorite I have made is a book with the names and faces of most of the immediate family. I made it for my daughter so she could see and remember all her aunts/uncles and cousins.

Ali,
I'm so excited for this new book! I love mini-books. I have two "favorite" ones. The first is one I did for my oldest son. I created a spread for each month with one big picture taken of him that month and then a list of everything I wanted to remember about that month. I printed everything on matte photo paper and mounted it in a Maya Road chipboard album. I LOVE IT. I also did another chipboard album for my cousin of all of her engagement photos with the words to their wedding song overlayed on each one. The words and photos flow so well it's almost like reading a story!

Ali, you are such a huge inspiration to me, not only creatively, but in terms of being a healthy, well-balanced individual. I love reading your blog, so a big thanks for all your devotion. Can't wait for your new book :)
I made a mini book for my boyfriend at Christmas entitled "the gifts you give me" and it was all about things I love about him, both big and small - positive traits, little acts of kindness he gives to me, and so forth. That was a very meaningful gift.
I am also in the middle of making a mini-book about my high school years. I want to capture all my favorite things, friends, habits, etc, from that era.

I'm planning on creating two mini books shortly. One based on the city where I've been spending a lot of my time lately, Seal Beach, CA and the other will be about my upcoming trip to China. :)

my favorite mini book project is one that i completed two years ago now (wow!) which is dedicated to my dog Hopper and all of the quirky little things that he does! i wanted to make sure that we never forget all of his cute little traits (not that we could!) and this mini book will help to ensure that. :)

I just made a mini-album of all of the photos that we had taken this summer by my favorite photographer.
it was a real branch out for me - acrylic album and all stuff from a kit of things that I wouldn't normally use.

Hi Ali, Congrats on the pregnancy!! I just finished a Disney mini album based on a design I saw in the new simple scrapbooks mini book magazine. I love the way it turned out. I have felt very overwhelmed by the disney pictures and was happy to finally get them in an album. Thanks for the chance to win!

Your latest book looks terrific, I'm currently into making mini-books of certain events, trips, documenting friendships.
I find them more mangeable since my scrapping time is limited. Thanks for all of your inspiration!

My favorite project is always the one I am working on or about to start :-) Right now I am making a fabric mini book for my mother-in-law using pictures I took on a trip to Friday Harbor with her for her birthday, but I'm loving mini-books for their ability to be completed quickly, capture memories easily, and be handled more easily by little hands.
