Mini books are some of my favorites!! I plan on starting one sometime this week about our daily lives together using envelopes to hold the story and just pictures and words on the outside :) I can't wait to get started on it!

My favorite minibook project was the travel journal I made for our trip to Europe. I loved making it and I loved updating each night with the events and collecions from the day!
I'm excited about your new book Ali!

My favorite mini book is one that I made from our honeymoon. A Hawaiian book with little vials of different sands from different beaches, photos, ticket stubs, stickers, pockets for journaling. With my hectic crazy life with kids now, I sometimes look at it like it was a million years ago.
Thanks for the giveaway!

Oh, I can hardly wait to get my hands on a copy of this book. I just love your books, Ali. Life Artist has got to be my favorite so far.
Favorite mini book. Well my birth stories and birth in general is something that has had a huge impact on me. I'd been wanting to do a mini book about birth for a long time but I procrastinated b/c I wanted it to be perfect (hehe). Well I got started on it this summer and I absolutely love it. Pictures and words. That's what it's all about. The only thing is that it's kind of gotten away on me. Three volumes now ...
There are pictures on my blog.

I'm not all that great at the mini-book thing, so I'd really love this book. :) I *have* made a couple, and they're just too much fun!
The last one I did was for my husband for his birthday. It included pictures of us along with some favorite relationship/love quotes. He loved it. :)

I'm planning a mini book on my best friend's son. She doesn't scrapbook but loves the finished projects I make for my family and kids. I have a bunch of photos of him from his birth on that I know she'll love. I'll give it to her for her birthday in February..
Can't wait to see your book...I love your style and you're so inspiring!
Also, congratulations on your pregnancy.

I am a mom of 3 kids (6, 4 & 2) and the wife of a Canadian soldier who is currently deployed for a 6 month period, so I am planning a mini album for him showing some of the "adventures" we had and special moments he missed while he was gone. It helps the kids cope without daddy here knowing that the pictures I am taking are going to be made into a special gift for him. They will get to give it to him when he returns just before Christmas and are always excited to pose for a new picture to add to the book.

Hello, Ali. OK, you are THE EXPERT on mini books. I love the stuff you do! One of my favorites of yours is the acrylic one about Simon that was featured this summer on your site and in CK (I think that's where I read about it)...I actually mimicked it two weeks ago when I made a gift for my daughter's best friend. I am wanting to come up with a fun mini book idea to highlight my kids' athletics. I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book.
Hope all is going well with the pregnancy. What a lucky little baby!

I've not really been into the mini albums much. But as I read your blog more and more it is kinda making me want to. I think I'll start with the mixed up mini...I always seem to have extra stuff lying around that I just can't part with/get rid of. Also if it's all "mixed up" I won't feel like it has to be so "perfect" as a "regular mini" if that makes any sense! ;D
Would love to have your new book!
Thanks for your inspiration!

I would love to win you book. I am making a mini book of my daugher. I have taken photographs of her sleeping since she was a baby (she's now 10) and I want to put them all in a mini book I will entitle "Sleeping Beauty".

I am currently working on one about our everyday family life, photos of me cooking dinner, baby on hip, children in the bath...just regular everyday stuff that would break my heart to forget..and my favourite would be 'The Zoom Book', made for my son it has photos of all our family members in their cars/on their bikes etc. I collaged the backgrounds and all it says is 'Zoom went Mama in her green car', 'Zoom went grandma in her purple car' my son loves it and its a great learning tool.
I cant wait to see the new book!
