I LOVE MINI-BOOKS! My favorite is one I did with just 3 sheets of 12x12 paper to document our experiences trying to get our family portrait taken. It is so real and it truly represents the whole experience. I love your books, CK article, and blog, thanks for working so hard to keep us going and inspired!!!

My favorite mini book is one I did this summer of my hometown. Since things were tight and there wouldn't be a vacation I created a mini book of sights around town. I included lots of journaling of things I did with the kids as they were growing up here. It is so fun to look at and will be a great memory of a place that I am sure will continue to change as time goes by.

Does it ever amaze you how many people read your blog? I don't have one, but it think it would be amazing to me that 1000+ people not only read it, but leave a post!! Congrats.
My favorite mini-album was inspired from CZ. She did one for every day of the month of March. I ended up doing mine for July since we started our drive to move to NV july 1st, and my boys started school in July and just all the events of the new job and school and friends. My husband was amazed that I had journalling and pictures for all 31 days!

Hi Ali!
I'm planning on making a round mini-book about school for my son Noah (ASD). He's not wanting to go back to school, and hopefully this will help. It's round so I can make it look like "beautiful Katamari", the Xbox 360 game that he's obsessed with. :) Hopefully that should be motivating!!
have a great school year for Simon! :)

My favorite mini is one that I scraplifted from you. The month of december day by day. I'm so busy in december and it was great to be able to just add journaling, photos and a few embellishments. It's awesome!

Adding my name to the thousands! LOL. My favorite mini albums are the ones I do every year for my children "Bailey at (age)" and "Mason at (age)". They write their favorite things, friend and hobbies, I include pictures with favorite clothes and poses and friends. They LOVE looking back and I cry at how fast they grow. Thanks for sharing your book and inspirations! Can't wait to get my hands on your new book. m

My favourite mini book is a little pink treasure I made after a lovely trip to Paris. It was a perfect break from everydaylife, and this little book gives me a wonderful 5 minute break with good memories every time I look through it.

I love to do minis so much. My favorite, though, was an impromptu envelope accordion book that I threw together the night before Thanksgiving two years ago. I coerced all of my family members into writing out a notecard of what they were thankful for. Many of my relatives grumbled about doing it . . . but when my Uncle Ken passed away 6 months later, his words written on that card were like gold to me. I'm so glad I thought to do it . . . and it has become a Thanksgiving tradition at our house!

I just finished reading Stacy Julian's book Big Picture Scrapbooking. I LOVED her book that she made from interviewing her children about herself. I'm planning to modify the idea a bit and do it as a mini book for my husband for Christmas with the kids! Thanks for all the inspiration Ali....if I don't win your book I'll buy it!!! :)

Ok, with over 1200 comments, I have no shot at winning but I'll tell you that I have started a "Nana" book for my sister who just became a grandmother 2 months ago. My favs for the book? 7gypsies and Maya Rd products-you've influenced me more than you know!

Hi Ali!
I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of your new book. I love mini books and I love your work, so this is a great combination for me!! Thanks for always being so inspiring! :)
It is hard to choose a favorite mini book... but one of my favorites at this time is a mini book of family favorites. I created a simple page for each of my family members. I placed a picture of them and a list of favorites for them to answer, such as favorite movie, food, book, etc. I had each family member fill it out in their own handwriting to make it more personalized.

one of my favorite minis is a book made from a knock-off Chanel wallet a friend brought back from China and it is filled with wants, like the outrageous $1000.00 Louboutian pumps I covet...It was a great way to excorcise those greedy demons from my system and it is super chic!!! I would totally love to win this book, I love your minis! Thanks!
