Clear Scraps Giveaway
Tags:Today's giveaway is sponsored by Clear Scraps. They recently generously donated some product for an upcoming benefit class/make + take I am doing in Southern Oregon. These are my four favorite products in their clear mini-book line-up:
6x6 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
All Mixed-Up (6 pages, 3 ring)
Scalloped Square Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
8x8 Tab Album (5 pages, 3 ring)
Here's a recent minibook I did that was featured in my Studio A column in the August issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine using the Scalloped Square Album:
Notice the square punch + corner rounder again?
For this album I used paint as an adhesive. I ran the outer edges of the squares through some paint and laid them down onto the acrylic. It definitely smears as you push it down, but that was part of the fun. I used much more paint on the transparent pieces and less on the photos (the photos are backed with other photos allowing me to adhere them to the acrylic album).
[ supplies : album: Clear Scraps; transparencies: Hambly Studios; paint and tiny alpha letter stickers: Making Memories, "the easter egg is pretty:" vintage ]
I have two sets of these four albums to giveaway. To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know what layout/project have you been putting off and why. Comments will be closed today (Thursday) at 5pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I have been putting of the album of my husband's holiday in Scotland. I have to do about 10 pages. But then our home-improvement came between it. Also I don't feel mood of Scotland, because my husband went alone.

I have more projects that I have been avoiding than what I have actually done.
One is an acrylic album that is shaped like a flower. I do not want to do the obvious, pic in the center and various applications to the petals. So I am STUCK! Just want to try something else acrylic!

I am putting off my photos from our trip that we did in 2006 as I don't know where to start, do I keep it all the same colours do I do each place different, do I put them all in one album or do I do a small separate one for each place. Actually lately I have just been putting off scrapping altogether even doing all the housework and gardening first! an

I've been putting off my boys' school albums, because it's hard for me to do a big "same theme" project (I get bored). I went to a crop a few weeks ago and was able to get one caught up by just keeping it simple. I plan to take my other sons' school stuff when I go to a crop again.

There's a lot of albums I've been putting off, or have half done. My wedding album is half-finished mostly because I wanted it to be perfect. My son is 6-months old and I really want to work on his baby album but he's taking up all my time!

I've been putting off working on my Christmas album. It was because the album I didn't have the 18x18 Martha Stewart album I wanted. I finally got it @50% off (a deal) yet I still haven't done anything with it. I purchased it with the intention on placing our yearly Christmas picture in a festive pj's & all the awesome Christmas cards we get each year from friends and fam. It will be displayed on our coffee table during the holidays. I think in years to come when my tinies are dating & they bring home a friend it will be a great conversation piece.

Quite a while ago, I asked my mom for pictures of family. My siblings, nephews & seices are all spread out across the world and we don't share stories like we used to when we were kids. I thought I would put together books for my kids and nephews & neices of things they's like to know and funny stories. Something to foster a sense of family across the miles.
But the pictures are in rough shape (I have to take them to a restorer), I'm new to scrapbooking and I have more ideas than talent. Loved your ideas in your latest book, esp. memories & you should know. Now all I need are the albums!

I have been putting off doing my girls birthday layouts for the last few years. I don't know why but I really struggle doing layouts for them. Hmmmm maybe I should combine them all in a mini album!?!?

I was an an au pair in the USA back in 1998/99 and went on a super-trip before coming back to Spain. That's the big-huge project I've been putting off all the time; I think it scares me since it's such a long album to make but I'll make it some day :-)

I have been putting off scrapping my wedding pics. Why? Because it's been 26 years and I tried to scrap them about 6 years ago and don't like how they were turning out so I put the whole thing away after only a couple of pages. I need to figure out a unique way to scrap 8 1/2 X 11 photos so they don't all look the same. Help!

An album all about me! I just don't feel like I have enough pictures or things to say about me...I'd rather scrap about my daughter or my husband anyday!!! Anyone but me! lol If I win this though, I'm going to do at least one of these acrylic albums just on something about me! Thanks for the chance!!!

Procrastination is my middle name. I have a dozen layouts 1/2 completed and sitting in a stack on the corner of my desk. It wouldn't take much to finish them but I haven't. I just keep starting new projects. It's not just scrapping either, I do with knitting and cross-stitching too. Thanks for the giveaways.

I have been putting off doing my child's (now 6!) BABY BOOK. I feel so much pressure to "get it right" or make it FABULOUS that keep putting if off and off over the years. Ugh! The downside of this hobby, for sure! ;)
