I'm so looking forward to seeing my Dad, who lives 6,000 miles away in South Africa. He is flying over here to England to be with us over Christmas and during that time we will be driving up to Scotland to visit the town where the family name is from.

Spending my first official Christmas with my husband--we got married in June. These goodies would be wonderful for a first Christmas book!

We are moving my girls to a different bedroom and doing a whole extreme makeover thing for them including bunkbeds. They are going to be so excited!
    Those kits look amazing.

I love it all....the baking, the Christmas carols playing in the mall, the time with family, wrapping presents, the food, the fresh snow, and some time off work to enjoy it all (I'm a teacher) :) By far, one of my favorite times of the year.

I'm really looking forward to doing Shimelle's class again this year. Last year was my first year and it really helped me stay in the moment. Even my family noticed how stress-free I was, especially since it was my turn to host Christmas Day. I actually relaxed and enjoyed myslef.

I can't wait to decorate the house and see the family. We always get together for the holiday and it just wouldn't be the same without them.

I'm looking forward to carrying on the family traditions we've started in the past few years, things like, baking and decorating cookies, decorating gingerbread houses, going to see the lights, attending a special Christmas concert and our advent calendar. Also hoping to add in something new, some sort of service project to help others.

the holiday season has so many obligations, but my favorite parts are always at home: red snowflake flannel sheets, tiny boxwood weaths over the kids' beds, remembering my grandparents as i hang their vintage ornaments. It's those little things I love the best.

We're expecting our first child. I'm excited that this will be our last holiday season with some of the freedom that being without kids allows, but I'm also looking forward to seeing this holiday season with the expectation of what next year will be like. Thanks for the chance to win!

My favorite part of the holiday season is how everyone seems to become nicer and more tolerant of one another. It's a beautiful time of year!

My husband and I take a whole week of vacation between Christmas and New Year. We don't go anywhere, but relax at home with our two children. We stay in our PJ's all day, the kids play with their new toys, and everyone relaxes and enjoys each others company.

I'm not so sure I am looking forward to the holidays. It will be hard since my dad passed away in July.

I work in education and I get two, yes two weeks off over the December holidays. My husband, daughter, son and I hang out, sleep late and bake lots of goodies. Its my favorite time ever. We get to be a simple family enjoying each others company.
