Spending time with our family...we now live in South Korea, so it means a lot that we have family coming to see us over the holidays!

I can't wait to spend time with family and snow and kids off school and no homework and my hubby home and decorations and baking and music...can't forget the music..

My daughter and I always go through Santa's Magical Kingdom (a local lights drive through show) - LOVE it, a small tradition for just the two of us.
Watching White Christmas while I put up our tree - I drag out all our Christmas movies when I'm putting out the decorations but White Christmas is first and my favorite - completely starts our Christmas season.

Trying to have a RELAXING season this year.. LOW STRESS!

My favorite thing is looking forward to evenings in the glow of the Christmas tree watching holiday movies and drinking hot apple cider. YUM.

The thing I like best is making holiday cookies for all our neighbors and friends. And of course the excitement that our 4 kids have for the holiday season!

I am looking forward to really focusing on our family this year. I want to do more "at home" activities and really connect with each other. Oh, and the yummy food!

I love Christmas afternoon. You know...presents have been opened, lunch has been eaten, the kids are still in their pj's, and the family is all together. We are spread all through the house and friends and other family members drop in and snack and visit. The kids are playing, sometimes quietly, with their cousins and all the new toys are in a jumble. The "grown-ups" are chatting, doing jigsaw puzzles, drinking hot cocoa, catching up. Absolutely the best part of the holiday!

I said I wasn't going to do this project but... the journal and tags make me really really want to. This would be a really great way to get rid of my growing stash of Christmas stuff. Ugh you have me hooked.

This is our first year celebrating the holidays in a house rather than an apartment. I am looking forward to trying some ideas for decorating that I just haven't had room for in the past...

I started a December journal two years ago and love having this documentation of the holiday season, my favorite time of year! Thank you for sharing your creativity.

I look forward to making the memories of being with family, enjoying each other's company. My father is very ill and each holiday we spend together is a blessing. It is my hope that this one is a splendid one!

I would have to say I love having the week in between Christmas and New Year's off work to stay home with my boys! I am also looking forward to seeing how my little 20 month old will react to everything!

My oldest son is a firefighter and he has a side business, so I don't see him near as much as I would like to. He and his wife have 3 children, and his youngest was born in May, so this will be his first Christmas. I'm so looking forward to spending time with my son and his family, and seeing my grandson's first Christmas. Family is so important to me and I look forward to those quality times together.
