Having fun with my kids
Finding a good hiding place for the presents
Leaving out cookies for Santa & Rudolph
Eating a huge Christmas dinner, and enjoying every bite!
That's what I'm so looking forward to. I just can't wait.

Looking forward to time with my husband and two little girls. I plan on putting together Advent stockings for them to open each day. Inside will be a family activity instead of a gift. Want to slow down and remembe what Christmas is about.

Last Christmas was so exciting through the eyes of our then 8 month old daughter. The season will be even more special this year as we celebrate new and old traditions with her (she will be 20 months at Christmas).

I am absolutely excited about having time for me. As a teacher there is so much we do up until the holidays. I'm excited to be able to relax and enjoy my family, the weather and let my creative juices kick in so I can have some fun craftting time for me.

My favorite thing about the holidays is cozy time with my family. Even though it's a crazy-busy time it seems to slow us down at home and give us more time to be together.
Thanks so much for all the wonderful ideas. I just finally finished my "Week" book and I love it!

Dear Ali,
I am looking forward to spending the coming months with my family - my nephew and niece are turning eight and six in Novemeber and Decemeber and my sister thorws them the most fantastic Birthday parties, so our holiday season starts off with a great hurrah! As Aunt, I am allowed to spoil them (just a little) and so shoppign for presnets is always fun too!
Cheers, Amy Louise

I LOVE to decorate my house; it is the house that threw up Christmas! Only on the inside though; we live outside Chicago; COLD!

Such a lovely giveaway!
I'm *so* hoping we'll have a white Christmas, after a couple of dark, snowless ones.

All the family is now in Georgia. It will be so wonderful to share the holiday fun and excitement with all my grandchildren. I can't wait to bake cookies, decorate the tree, wrap presents and make homemade gifts with them! Two of the girls (age 6 and 2 1/2) all ready scrapbook with me and while it can be challenging, I love sharing this art with them--holiday or not!

I am looking forward to baking lots of yummy goodies. Some recipes only get made at this time of year. Also looking forward to spending time with family that we don't get to see to often.

Hi Ali! What am I looking forward to this holiday season? Well, this year my husband, daughter and I are concentrating on giving to those that are more in need than ourselves. I look forward to being a bit less self centered this Christmas.

What lovely sets!
I am so looking forward to simplifying this year. No more staying up until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning making Christmas magical. Better prioritizing. More time just enjoying everything with my family. More hot cocoa. More reading Christmas stories. More singing carols. Can't wait!

First I'd like to say thank you so much for your blog. I did the week in the life project and had a blast doing it. I was also inspired by your halloween album. I recently started doing more digital scrapbooking and using your templates made an adorable halloween mini book. Because it was digital I was able to print out an extra copy and mail it to my mother. She'll love her "October Surprise"
I am really looking foward to having a mostly "handmade holiday" this year. My husband and I have noticed that our children play much more with toys that have been made for them. Thing like the blocks my grandfather made for me, and toy doll my mother knit for my little girl. I think it is because these types of toys are simple and lend themselves to more imaginative play.
In addition my children love making presents for our extended family. Last we used my 6 year old daughter's artwork to make t-shirts for our extended family. She made each one to reflect the interests of the recipient. For example, my dad got a picture of his dog. They were a huge hit. The look of joy on my daughters face when her gifts were so well recieved was priceless.
So I look foward to making gifts, food, and memories with my family this year.
Thanks again for your awesome blog!
