Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Ahhh, Fall! My favorite season! I love to celebrate in many ways! Going for drives, buying pumpkins and cider in the country, bike rides along the river, drinking hot tea and spiced cider... But the best thing to do is to head to the Oregon coast and watch the storms from a cozy cabin. Heaven.

We celebrate fall by just getting outdoors again. Summer is so hot and muggy in the South that we quit doing things outside - riding our bikes, going to the park, etc. Fall is the time we get to reclaim the outdoors again and just enjoy the little things.

Here is Northern CA we don't really have a fall season. Yes the leaves fall off the trees -but it is still 80 degrees and everyone is wearing shorts and flip-flops which will continue until December when the rains hit.
I like to fake fall. I decorate inside my house with brown/gold/red things and burn pumpkin candles.
We bake lots of pumpkin things and visit Apple Hill to get apples and pies.

fall means pumpkin patches, warm days, cool nights, and hanging with the family.

Falls are a bit different here on Big Island. During this time of year my family and I welcome the Humpback whales as they migrate past our island.

We celebrate fall with a trip to the pumpkin patch and lots of yummy apple recipes. The boys love rake leaves and jump in the piles too.

We have a rockin' Halloween party every year! We take all of the kids trick-or-treating and then have homemade chili. We end the night with a costume contest and all the adults dress up, too! It is sooooo much fun!

This year we celebrated fall by having a family portrait taken. I love all the fall colors so I wanted to do it outside. We were finally able to get the weather to cooperate on the Oregon Coast and I am anticipating the beautiful results.

We take nature walks in the closest state park, LOVE eating honeycrisp apples, drinking hot cider, raking/jumping in leaves and going to the pumpkin patch. Three in my family are fall babies and we love pumpkin cake for birthdays!

Since we're celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary today, we're just starting our Fall traditions as a semi-recently married couple. We both like to decorate the house with our new Fall decorations for Halloween and Thanksgiving. This year will be the first Thanksgiving at our house. Eeep!
I love the Cocoa Daisy kit!

Cold snappy mornings and evenings always bring out the hot spiced cider. I like to make my own spice mix and use the best quality cider I can find. Sweet hone crist apples to eat and the drives in the country to admire the beauty of the trees in their fall colors. Oh yes, I do enjoy fall.

We celebrate Fall with baking, decorating inside and out (pumpkins, hay bales etc.) and going for 'nature walks' along the Niagara River Parkway - we collect leaves, acorns, twigs, rocks - anything my twins can get their little hands on! And somewhere in there I always manage to sneak in a few Pumpkin Spice Lattes - love them!!
Thanks, Ali!

I love to bake, bake & bake some more!!! We are a small family so my friends are all the recipients of my baking (otherwise I would be the size of a house!). It's relaxing and makes me feel like I'm a kid again!!!

I celebrate fall by decorating the house for Halloween and Thanksgiving, opening the windows of the house to let in the crisp fall air, and going for a drive to observe the trees changing colors!

Ok, so there are a ton of comments already!
I totally love the fall though! I grew up in Washington where the apples are harvested, you go to football games, drink hot chocolate and eat everything with apples! I love that. NOw, I live in Arizona and we don't really have the fall! I have to put fake leaves up in our house and don't get nearly as many apple treats as I got when I was younger, but as soon as it does start to cool off a little, I get happy and it feels as close to fall as it will in Arizona.

We throw a huge Halloween Party. We start planning in Sept and invite friends over for dinner, trick or treating followed by hot cocoa and a movie. Sometimes we test recipies and try new things to serve. All the dishes have gross names like cat brains (meatballs) and there is usually something groww in the punch (a frog, eyeballs, ice in the shape of a brain).
