Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We have our annual Pumpkin Patch caravan and then back to the house to bake cookies and cupcakes. Two nights before Halloween, everyone is at our house for pumpkin carving, cupcakes and tacos. Simple, yet something my kids and Godchildren look forward to.
Oh, I almost forgot, I pull my Saint Mary's College sweatshirt out. It is so worn and weathered, but well loved!

Pick pumpkins. Pick apples. Pick some more apples. Pick some more pumpkins. Fry pumpkin blossoms. Use kale in everything I can. First chili of the season - always a big one.
I LOVE fall!!

Ahhh...Fall!! It's my absolute favorite season! It's the color of the leaves, the crisp mornings and warm afternoons, the cider and hot chocolate, the pumpkins and scarecrows, the finishing up of harvest, and the leading into Thanksgiving and Christmas. It reminds me of family and friends and just generally leaves me feeling all warm and fuzzy! We celebrate by having a BIG photo shoot of our family in the park with the leaves and beautiful colors! They are always my favorite pictures.

Fall, or autumn as we call it, happens in March/April for us, and may even be rainy. School vacations means we get to travel & we often visit our favourite game reserve at this time of the year. The balmy weather & lazy days, are best finished off with a BBQ, some local wine, while watching a sunset over the hippo-filled lake...

From October 1 to January 10 is my favorite time of year. We welcome fall with open windows and soup. We take a few last hikes in the mountains. We winterize the lawn. Then we decorate with ghosties and scarecrows and decorate Halloween cookies. We pick pumpkins. We make more soup. And homemade bread. We plan Thanksgiving meals. Food, comfort and family. Fall.

I love fall! The colors this time of year are so amazing. I love decorating my house with all the colors and I love the cool crisp air. I always take my girls to the pumpkin patch for a hayride and to pick out their pumpkin!

We celebrate fall with bringing the sweaters out of storage, pumpkin carving and the family Barn Dance at church. I hope you're enjoying your fall!

I grew up in Oregon, but now live in Florida, so Fall for me is a little different now. It is all about the sweaters though. Even though the temperature isn't too cold, I love that I can wear a sweater.

We've already begun! Pumpkin picking - some of the best photos of the year! There's nothing like the smell of autumn, the taste of apple cider, and the feeling of togetherness that comes along with this time of year. I am so thankful for my life! xoxo

Thanks for the giveaways, Ali!
We celebrate fall in so many ways. One of our newest traditions is to spend an hour or so in Target after the Halloween decorations are out. We push the buttons, see the fun and scary things!
It also means baking and cooking. Yummy. I love the smell of our house in the fall. We go to pumpkin patches, hayrides and once a week we go on scavenger hunts that I make up. Last week, it was a fall hunt at a metropark. This week, it's a Halloween hunt walking around the neighborhood.
Blessings to you!

well this year, being almost 9 months pregnant, I tend to be celebrating the season by attending birth classes and sleeping, but one of my favorite things in fall is going for long bundled up autumn walks with a thermos of hot chocolate or steamed milk in tote... mmmm... and then of course, love the slight touch or red on the cheeks when you finally return inside and curl up in a blanket, so nice, LOVE fall and winter.
Happy Tuesday!

I celebrate the Fall season by bundling up and going on walks with my husband, taking pictures of the changing leaves, lighting yummy candles, and eating lentil soup.
