Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Fall means wearing my favorite sweaters, celebrating Halloween and drinking pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks -- yum!

We celebrate fall by:
collecting fall leaves;
making fall tree sponge art;
taking walks and noticing the changes of the season; and
making more cozy, cold weather dishes.
Thank you for continuing to inspire.

We celebrate fall mostly by getting together as a family. We spend time at the lake enjoying the peace and quiet. We take walks on the beach and in the back woods. I am thankful for the return of cooler weather!!

We do the customary pumpkin patch voyage...we like to spend time outdoors in the crisp air so there are walks and leaf kicking and throwing as well as drives to nowhere.
Our extended family also gets together for our Canadian Thanksgiving. It is a day for family.

Living in Phoenix we don't really have seasons, however by the time
Halloween comes it is only just starting to cool down. We celebrate by finally being able to do stuff outside, like hike and take the kids to the park.

We enjoy our long walks with the gradkids, just on outskirts of our neighbourhood, stomping through the dried leaves and enjoying the smells. Sometimes we have a bonfire or weineeer roast in the back yard and invite family or the neighbours to join us.
I always get a pumpkin (for Hallowe'en night). Now the gradkids are old enogh to help carve them out.
Oh yes... and we begin to make hearty soups and stews... bring out the breads and enjoy apple ciders/hot chocolate.
Autumn in Canada is most beautiful.

Living up in the Northland (specifically the Twin Ports of Duluth, MN and Superior, WI)the leaves are on "fire" and I love to go and take pictures. We also enjoy honey crisp apples that are only available this time of year.

We live in the midwest, so we always take a Sunday afternoon to drive along the Mississippi River looking for fall colors and visit a quanit little town north of us. We visit mom and pop owned shops, eat homemade caramel apples, and stop and pick up our Halloween pumpkins along the way at a homegrown farm. So much fun, and we look forward to it every fall.

We purchase my dog's Halloween costume and all the neighborhood kids try to guess what she'll (my dog) be. My dog helps give out the candy (baby gate goes up so there's no jumping on the kids, just visiting). Not sure who has more fun, the kids or the dog.

I celebrate this favorite season of mine by cuddling up in my cozy sweaters, drinking lots of warm cider and pumpkin spice lattes, and going for walks with my husband and sweet little girl.

Fun! I think my favorite Fall/Halloween tradition is carving pumpkins. I hadn't done it for a while, and last weekend my boyfriend and I both carved our own pumpkins and I had forgotten how fun it was. Driving up to our little home is so much better where there are some cheerful pumpkins on the front step!

I love fall, the colors, smells, cooler temps - all of it. My kids love carving pumpkins and now that they are a bit older they love to pick the intricate patterns. Each year I am amazed as to how they turn out. So much fun!
