Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I love fall! We spend a lot of time outside enjoying the weather (in Arizona it finally starts to cool down by the end of October!). But I also love to get cozy and enjoy lots of books and scrapbooking time, play board games with my husband, and visit family.

First off is the pumpkin patch at the Arboretum! Can't forget the Halloween costume of course!
Next, hunting season! Yes, I am a girl and I hunt. I am the youngest of 5 girls so I didn't have much choice :)
My Daddy has taken me hunting ever since I was 5/6yrs old. I love it! Being in the outdoors with you, God and hopefully a big buck is so peaceful. Seeing nature in all its glory- amazing! The leaves turnung colors and falling to the ground, watching the squirels, seeing a skunk pass you by (and not spray!!!). What a wonderful world we live in!

We don't have much of a true "fall" in Las Vegas, but the weather is nice, so we just simply spend more time outside playing, eating and enjoying the short-lived season.

I can't wait for fall, it's my favorite season of the year. I love the crisp feeling of the air and the beautiful colors. We go to the apple orchard every year where we pick our own apples and go on hayrides.

We love to go for a drive into the foothills and enjoy the fall colors that Mother Nature has presented us with. Although we don't get the extreme vibrant colors like they do in the midwest, the colors here are very pretty, and it always makes for a relaxing day!

In my perfect world, it would be Autumn all year round! (OK, maybe a few weeks of the other seasons, but then right back to Fall!). I'm addicted to anything pumpkin, so the minute that pumpkin spice latte goes up at Starbucks, I'm a happy girl! We celebrate the season with lots of pumpkin and apple baked goods, visiting the pumpkin patch, hayrides, a pumpkin carving party, decorating the house, and daily walks to the park all cozy in corduroy pants and sweaters. Autumn in Oregon is hard to beat!

I celebrate Fall by busting out my winter robe, and slippers, and turning the heat back on in my house. Pull up dead plants, place some strategic pumpkins and enjoy the changing colors of fall leaves.

Fall traditions...I pull out everyone's boots and clean them and spray with with protectors. Then I shop to get a new pair of boots for myself and for the girls. I love my boots! It might sound wierd but I seriously get excited over this. And in my mind...it's fall when my boots are ready.
