Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I buy new candles (in fall colors!) for my mantel, and get out our trusty scarecrow for the front yard. I also do a "fall cleaning" (I'm more in the mood in the fall than in the spring, strange as it is). And, of course, I always drive around my neighborhood to take pictures of those gorgeous colorful trees with the fall-colored leaves.

The first thing I do to get ready for fall is change all my candles to pumpkin spice and cook up a batch of cheesy baked potato soup. Mmmmmm.

Family and fall go hand in hand for us. We make picking out pumpkins a special treat with our two children and take them to the pumpkin farm, hay bale maze, hay ride, pick out pumpkins.
Make holiday crafts, paper bats for the windows each year, bring out the decorations and put them around the house and outside the house. Last year we made "creepy cupcakes" the kids got to decorate them with silly faces of frosting and toppings.
And of course watch all their favorite halloween shows, The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Max and Ruby Halloween, Barney Halloween... while sharing bowls of popcorn.
Trick or treat, and then a pumpkin shaped pizza for dinner on halloween. We try to incorporate all the fun things we remember from our childhood from around this time of year. it's definitely one of our very favorites. Traditions to carry on...

We celebrate the fall with pumpkin picking and halloween decorating. This year we are hosting a Halloween party for our neighborhood and hope to continue this year after year. Unfortunately where we live fall isn't as lovely as other places. It consists of mostly rain and wind so not to much happens outside for us during this time of year.

Fall is my most favorite time of the year. I love the crispness in the air, the color combinations and to me everything looks clearer in the fall...we celebrate fall by going to our pumpkin patch and of course taking pictures of all the gorgeous scenery that we are surrounded by. Thank you for the give aways

Apparently I celebrate fall by taking my kids to the doctor--my child has had croup every fall that he has been alive, poor thing. No seriously, We celebrate fall by opening the windows to enjoy the temperature (and lower power bills), cooking a pot of chili, going to the pumpkin patch.

We just celebrated the fall season by having a new baby boy! Jonathan Henry was born on September 24th, and we have enjoyed our first month with him so much. We even took him to the pumpkin patch for the first time, although he slept through most of it!

We go to the pumpkin patch and for Halloween we go trick or treating in my parents' neighborhood with our little guy. All of the neighbors I grew up with love seeing our kiddo all dressed up! So fun.

We celebrate fall each year with two birthdays in the first week of October. We go to the cider mill, eat donuts and drink cider and pick out pumpkins. We usually get a bushel of apples, too and make homemade pie or cobbler. Yum! It's the best time of year for family time.

We celebrate by making pumpkin pie. This year I think we are going to start a new photo walk tradition. The colors around here are breathtaking.

We decorate for Halloween and Thanksgiving. We always have a day where the family rakes the leaves together and play in them. We host Thanksgiving dinner at our house EVERY year.

I celebrate the fall season by preparing yummy soups, simmering cinnamon on the stove and decorating the front porch with mums and pumpkins. Of course, there is Saturday college football and planning for Christmas too!

I love fall- the leaves, the cool air, waking before the sun rises, falling into the routine of the school year... We spend a lot of time outside in the fall and I spend a lot of time baking up delicious fall treats. One thing that is a must is visiting a local farm for a hayride.

We don't get to experience much of the Fall season here in Houston, TX, but we love to decorate with pumkins and scarecrows. We also try to visit a pumpkin patch, but my kids are getting older so it's hard to do.

Fall is definitley my favorite time of year, and the celebration of it lasts from the beginning of October until late November. I would say the early part of fall is most important, though, since that's when we spend time decorating for Halloween, getting Halloween costumes ready for the kids, and catching Halloween cartoons on tv. My wife and I make sure to watch the Roseanne Halloween DVD we own, since we were both big Roseanne fans growing up. Also, I love watching tons of horror movies, especially the first two Halloween movies, to prepare for the the big night! That's a tradition every year, no matter how crazy it makes my wife! :)

I celebrate fall each year by visiting our local farmer's market, Waterman's. They have so many wonderful things to do: farm tour hayrides, a huge pumpkin patch (to pick out the perfect or most imperfect pumpkins to take home), corn mazes (it's Indiana), fresh produce and goodies, and it's just a great time to relax and enjoy the beautiful time of year!!
