Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

For us it's snuggling up inside in the darkness of the early evening, lighting some candles, baking an apple pie and putting on a pot of hot cocoa. I love this season! I love the giveaways! Thanks for the chance to participate.

Going to the pumpkin patch, hay rides, riding the little train in the park; playing in the fallen leaves, carving pumpkins and of course, picking out and putting together Halloween costumes!

Today is our wedding day and I'm happy that fall is traditionally wedding time for our family. And this year we celebrate the 3rd anniversary as 3 already, that's why for me celebrating fall is like celebrating New Year - the beginning of something new, incredible and fun!
Thanks for a giveaway!

We go for a drive in the beautiful canyons in Utah to see all the fall colors. It's quite lovely to see the yellow, red and orange leaves against the dark green evergreens.
My husband and I also met and fell in love in the fall, so we celebrate that anniversary of when we first met (6 years this weekend!) I love the fall here!

Fall is my very favorite! I love snuggling up with a warm bowl of homemade soup and a cozy blanket. It's time to just relax and take it all in before the mad holiday season.

We celebrate by dedicating our lives to the Nutcracker. Dance mom's know what I am talking about!!! But seriously moving from Fl to SC we really enjoy the change of season. Just seeing the leaves change, carving pumpkins and after 40 years I found out I like pumpkin pie!! Only if it is completely covered in whipped cream. Which means I have to have the can sitting right next to my slice of pie!! and a new tradition, pumpkin, choc. chip muffins hot out of the oven on school mornings. Next up , pumpkin waffles. Tami

We celebrate the emergence of fall with evening marshmallow roasting. What better way to enjoy the cool nights than sitting by a fire together as a family. We also enjoy the fall decorating and pursuit of the perfect Halloween costume.

We celebrate fall with baking (I love anything pumpkin), decorating, visiting our local pumpkin patch and apple orchard, host a Caramel Apple Party, and attend a huge Halloween camping event (which has turn into sort of a family reunion). . .the kids love this because they get to trick-or-treat and go on a haunted hayride! : ) Lots of fun.

We head out to Detering's each fall to pick apples. We then make homemade applesauce and apple crisp. Such a fun time! I love the changing of the season and the traditions that go with it!

Our fall celebration includes a trip to the pumpkin patch. We try to find a different one every year. Aside from all the activities at the patch we enjoy is the drive there, seeing all of the beautiful fall colors and then finding a cool local eatery before we head back home.

Visiting the mountains of southwestern Virginia where we lived for years--picking apples and revisiting all the happy times there. Going to football games at my daughter's high school and she still acknowledges us as her parents even though she's a teenager. Putting mums and pumpkins inside and outside the house. Sleeping with the windows open and snuggled under extra blankets.

Pictures in the park with the kids. Every year the park by our house turns brilliant oranges, yellows and reds. We try to get there when the sky is deep blue and take our pictures for the year. The kids love this tradition of tramping through the woods and finding all kinds of treasures.

Choosing a pumpkin to carve or paint is still a favorite fall activity in my house! "Ghosting" is another. Even though my kids are older (one teen and one preteen), they still enjoy these seasonal traditions. And so do I!
