Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

We like to go to the pumpkin farm - they have tiny pumpkins that my son loves and a corn maze! We also like to play in the leaves and talk about the season. My son is 2.5 yrs old, so he's still learning about it all!
Thanks for the opportunity!

Here in AZ, its kinda hard to tell when summer ends and falls starts! haha! but we do celebrate by putting up all our halloween decorations. The kids get so excited when we do this. When fall finally arrives, its great because the air is cooler and the kids can have more fun outdoors. I love fall.

For us Fall is the pumpkin patch/farm. We just went this weekend and visited the cows, chickens, and dogs. We ate donuts and drank cider. We picked out our pumpkins. Lots of fun.

We like to decorate pumpkins and get exciting about dressing up for Halloween. The best family time is Thanksgiving day where we go from house to house visiting all the family.

For us (DH and I) it's fall when we go to the local Reniassance Faire and when I start making Christmas cards. This year we are starting a new Fall tradition - planting a fall garden.

Every year we take a trip to some part of the midwest that we have not seen in the fall. It is either a park, pumpkin patch or historical site. We compare the colors and decorations to our area. This year we went to Grennfield Village in Michigan and went on a trick or treat nite with the historical house decorated. It was so cool.

We go to the pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins in mid-October. And on Thanksgiving day we get together with a couple family friends and have a huge flag football game!

We celebrate the fall season by burrowing in, as if we were going to hibernate all weekend. We make gads of jam, bake and bake and then freeze baked goods, calzones, and casseroles, and try out wonderful new soups using the last of all the delicious summer and harvest vegetables still available at the local farmers market. We might put on a little extra weight, but hey, how would we get through a long winter without an extra layer?

Fall is a favorite of mine. Soccer is winding down for my boys. The leaves are changing color and it's time to head to the pumpkin patch. Time to start turning on the fire place and snuggling up on the couch in the evenings. Getting ready for Thanksgiving and even Christmas. Just a great time to be together as a family...no matter what we are doing!:)

My favorite thing to do is visit the pumpkin patch and take pictures. The colors are amazing! We also like to take short road trips and point out all the changing colors. Right now it is the perfect temperature to sit outside next to our fire pit, drink a nice glass of wine and talk politics. Ali, this giveway is too cool! Thanks!(see you November 1)

Thanksgiving is my favorite tribute to fall. Just as the cold weather is setting in and the last leaves drop from the trees, we celebrate the bounty of the year with family and friends.

We love to go to the pumpkin farm, where the kids get to ride ponies and enjoy the petting zoo. We also have a lot of fun at the Harvest Carnival at our church every year.

Fall is my favorite season! I look forward to putting up my fall decorations (dried cornstalks by the lamp post, scarecrows, pumpkins, etc), breaking out the fleece, and shopping for the neighborhood boo baskets. On Halloween, our neighborhood has lots of trick or treaters so we bring the fire pit out to our driveway, along with candy for the kids and the crockpot with hot apple cider for whoever might want the warm up.

Wow - fabulous giveaways!
My favorite part of fall is the snuggling up - sweaters and scarves, and reading a good book by the fire, wrapped in a blanket!
