Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

It's a tradition for us every year when the leaves start to change...we drive up on the Parkway and look at the leaves at Lover's Leap and then go on and get some pumpkin fudge at a little store nearby. The girls love the little getaway and of course the fudge. We buy enough to share with other family members that live close by!

Many, many ways that we celebrate fall: homemade hot chocolate on the weekends, lighting fragrant autumn candles, pulling the throw blankets out of storage and snuggling under them to read/watch tv, yummy soups and stews, late afternoon walks as a family, and a whole lot of baking. Just warm and cozy feelings!

We have our own farm so we pick pumpkins and gourds and then decorate the house and yard with them. The kids love that they grew it themselves and are always so proud.

For us fall means more family time! Soccer games, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and an annual visit to our local farm. It also means more time inside enjoying eachothers company playing games, crafting and trying new recipes. My favorite time of year!

lots of different ways - picking apples and pumpkins, watching college football, shopping for boots :), bake apple pies, and rake leaves. Also lots of birthdays in our house in the fall!

Hi Ali,
We celebrate with soup and board games. Soccer ends, the sun sets sooner, so outside play stops earlier. Lots of laughs and ribbing happens with board games. Happy Fall.

Here in Maine, we "button up" in the fall. Finish picking the vegetables from the garden, pull pumpkins from the garden for the front steps, and mow for the last time. We move inside; start making hearty soups, homemade breads, etc.

I simply ADORE fall! I love long walks in the woods in jeans and sweater weather. Add a cup of caramal apple cider and a girlfriend, arms link, to chat with = heaven!

We love fall! We usually start at the end of September by putting out "fall" things around the house. Then a few weeks later we start decorating inside and out for Halloween. Usually the week of Halloween we go and pick out some pumpkins for carving. We can't do this too far in advance of Halloween since we live in Florida and jack o lanterns go bad pretty quickly here. And probably the most favorite thing for my kids is "booing" neighbors and getting "booed" back.

Our family celebrates fall by breaking out the fall decorations, carving pumpkins, cuddling in at night with afghans and blankets that are treasured handmade gifts from family. Our Thanksgiving tradition is a combination dinner with my husband and my families together. We've combined our family traditions (mostly food!) and all gather. We also extend the invitation to extended family or friends that might not have a place to go for the holiday, making it one big celebration.

while we don't really celebrate Fall/Autumn down under I do have a few decorations that I display such as mini hay bales, leaves etc and some beautiful autumnal fabrics. I love the autumn hues.

Fall is when I kick into gear. I'm not a summer person so I tend to get a little sluggish until that first fall breeze hits. We love to be outside jumping in the leaves, carving pumpkins, decorating the house, making new crafts.
Our favorite family tradition is the thankful chain. This will be our 5th year making our links. We all write what we're thankful for on a link of construction paper and tape them together. It is displayed for all to see during this season.

We celebrate many ways throughout the fall, campouts, campfires, huge meals, cooking the first big batch of chili. Time together!
