Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I celebrate fall by rustling through the leaves on the sidewalk when walking downtown. Picking up a striking yellow maple leaf and sticking it through my scarf like a brooch. Starting to knit again after a long summer break. Drinking tea. Watching the sky. Apples and a a hint of cinnamon.

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year! Our family celebrates a lot of birthdays in November so everything just feels extra special then. The crisp, cool morning walks and sunny afternoons can't be beat and I don't even mind it getting darker earlier... something about that early twilight just makes home feel cozier.

We celebrate by going to pumpkin farms, burning fall scented candles, having campfires outside, decorating the outside of the house with cornstalks/pumpkins/lights, shopping for Halloween costumes, jumping in leaves, and going for drives to see the leaves!

I like to celebrate fall by taking a drive here in the Northeast to view the beautiful leaves changing colors. I love to go apple & pumpkin picking and enjoy the fall harvest fairs.... Oh & drink apple cider. The hot chocolate also comes out when it gets cold...

Fall has to include a trip to the punkin patch, Bath and Body works fall scent candles (I used to work there, so I'm totally addicted to Creamy Caramel and Caramel Pumpkin!!!), and introducing my boy to all the fun fall weather here in Seattle. We had hail/thunder/lightning yesterday, we went out and scooped up the hail to throw at the windows!

Pumpkin cookies - YUM. It is still in the mid to high 80's here in CA so it does not quite feel like fall yet.

For me, it's the little things about the fall season that I love -- drinking pumpkin spice coffee; decorating the house in rich browns, oranges, and greens; baking with pumpkin; and digging out my flannel pajamas.

We always go to the local corn maze/pumpkin patch. We have so much fun getting lost in the maze and the kids have fun on the tractor-pulled train and the stacks of hay bales. I especially like it because we always get a bunch of us together for it... family and friends that make it that more special.

I love fall! It's the time of year when I bring out my apple recipes for apple crisp and apple cake. I live near the mountains and so a drive up the canyons to enjoy God's fall palette is a highlight!

We have celebrated our first fall abroad by piling leaves for family pictures, carving pumpkins and through trial and error, finding the perfect baking pumpkins. You can't get canned pumpkin in Austria. We actually used it to make those pumpkin cranberry cookies you mentioned earlier...big hit at the office! It's fun to see fall colors since we came from San Diego and hadn't seen any in years!

Since we live in Central Florida we celebrate the fall by opening all the windows and doors to enjoy the cooler less humid days. Love the breeze that comes thru while watching football with my sweetie on the weekends. Fall also means a lot more crafting time for me!
