Three Things : Three Giveaways
A fun Tuesday giveaway:
1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.
2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).
3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).
To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

I bake mini pumpkins pies on beggars night. My boys deliver a warm pie to 15 or so neighbors while trick or treating. Enjoy the bounty of the fall season.

Here we celebrate fall by cooking special afternoon muffin or cookies, things we do less frequently during summer time!

A trip to our local orchard is a must. Apple Pie, Apple butter, Pumpkins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup...crisp air, blue sky and an occasional rainy football afternoon with a warm bowl of chili & cheese!

Fall means a trip to the pumpkin patch, hikes in the woods, soup for dinner and pie for dessert, and a warm fire.

We enjoy the season by playing in the leaves, going on drives to see scenery, drinking hot tea, and my three boys thinking it's the greatest to wear long pants again.

Mostly with food! Pumpkin cornbread, pumpkin pancakes, making apple butter, etc! We try to make it out to take a hike through the aspens, too, while they are changing colors.

We love the fall here in Salem, OR~in our backyard the leaves are turning fall colors and starting to fall to the ground. We head to Bauman's Farms to ride on their zip line, go thru the maze, take a hay ride, pick our pumpkins and of course watch the apple press make fresh apple cider that is 100% all natural and the best around Salem-woodburn area. They have the most activities for kids of all ages-a huge pirate ship boat maze with slides and everything along with the jumping pillow-Simon would probably love it. The have fabulous homemade aoole cider donuts too.
Thanks for all your inspiration-I am half way to completing my week in our life album.

My favorite way to celebrate fall is to embrace my fall birthday! I bake pumpkin cookies to give out to my friends, and heat up my favorite recipe for apple cider. I start pulling out my favorite fall scent candles, and I start thinking of what cute outfit I am going to dress my kitties up in for Halloween --but I promise them treats afterwards ;-)

It's always good when you read to the end of the post on your RSS feed to see the prompt...(Silly me)
For us - fall means we can open our windows and have fresh air in the house (after a hot & humid summer this is always a delight)
It means "Putting away the yard" and planting a few things before the cold really sets in.
It means walking knee deep in leaves at the park.
Warm soups, baking bread, enjoying being outside. Now...now I've entered your giveaway! :)

I love to get out and take pictures in the fall leaves. And our favorite place is the pumpkin patch, complete with straw bale slides and the corn maze!

I'm a Seattle girl that was transplanted to Dallas, TX by my wonderful husband. Fall in Texas is really the only season I can stand because it is the only season with good weather. I celebrate fall by waking up early, making scones and then eating them with a nice cup of coffee on my front porch.

Normally we don't celebrate the Fall season now that our kids are grown. But a week ago Sunday we decided to go to the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Kansas both armed with camera. It was amazing, all the fall colors, butterflies, and the flowers smelled so great. i think we just found our new way to celebrate Fall!

I love fall so much. I guess the older I get the more I realize how much. Our family makes a trip to the fruit farm. The boys pick pumpkins, we buy apples, take pictures, and eat head-sized apple fritters. Yum.
The rest of the fall is spent cozied up in hoodies, making home made soup and baking any chance I get.
Happy Fall everyone!

Great question Ali!
Over the past few years, our family has started a tradition of helping Grandpa harvest the last of his apples at his apple orchard, and baking all sorts of apple treats - pies, sauces, etc. We also visit the pumpkin patch and the kids and I harvest specialty pumpkins that we grow in our own garden, giving them as gifts to neighbours and school friends and using them to decorate the front porch. Of course there also has to be raking the leaves and jumping in it as well! What a wonderful time.

I like to celebrate with pumpkin colored fuzzy throw, autumn scented candles, getting out my scarves, decorating the house with leaves and fall colors, getting pumpkins, stocking up on cocoa and thinking about buying Christmas presents and shoving them in the back of the closet. I like to take walks in the fall at a local park, and drink cider and make corn chowder. Open the windows when I go to sleep at night and enjoy the chill the in the morning.
