Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.
[ Three Things is a weekly product series : check out the archives here. ]

We always stay in and get a heart shaped pizza and heart shaped ice cream cake. Yum! My son was born 1/20/08 so last year when he was just a little peanut we got him all dressed up in a little red outfit and brought him to all the grandparents offices so we could introduce him to their coworkers. They loved it!

Hi Ali,
I usually buy the girls (16 & 10) some sort of inexpensive heart-themed jewelry and a little basket of treats. But this year I plan to also write them a 'love letter' telling them how much they are loved and how unique they are to this world. I plan to make my husband a "How much do I love you?" scrapbook to take along when he travels (he's in the Navy).

Valentine's Day is when we take a yearly family photo. I'm not sure why we do it at this time but we have ever since my daughter was born. This year my daughter and I will be making valentine's cards to send to her friends. She doesn't go to preschool yet but she loves to send things in the mail.

I love Valentine's and try to make it special for my family by decorating the house from about mid-January thru February. My daughter and I will be making handmade Valentine's for her class at school this year. And we usually have a special dinner and give little gifts to each other or at least cards as a family to share how much we love each other. My hubby and I try to go out but we usually go out the day before or after. Thanks for this fun give-away! :)

I am planning the start of a new Valentine's Day tradition this year by inviting my three year-old son's friends over for a Valentine cookie decorating party. I will supply the cookies and guests bring a cookie decorating topping. Should make for great photos!

I remember how excited I was, and my children when they were little, at exchanging Valentines. I still send my son a little package of goodies and a card since he is away at college. My daughter and I will go out for lunch and pick up our favorite Starbucks drink. Unfortunately my husband doesn't buy into the romantic notion of Valentines Day so I make it about the kids.
However, my husband has a convention in Cabo San Lucas over Valentine's Day so 'maybe' it will be a romantic get-away!;)
Wow, the giveaways you have featured are over-the-top wonderful. Such talented and generous ladies!!

We usually have heart shaped muffins for breakfast and try to spend the day as a family. I usually cook a special dinner and then we frost heart shaped cookies for dessert. My kids are really into it this year. My son is already drawing hearts and making valentines!!

Hey Ali! Great giveaways! I usually go out with my boyfriend but he left me so it will be just me and my kids this year. I usually just dress my kids in red/pink and try to be as involved as I can with whatever their teachers have planned for Valentines Day.

I usually rack my brain the weeks before Valentine's Day to come up with some unique way to say "I love you" to my husband. May times balloons are involved and it's fun to see what he comes up with afterwards.

It's just my husband and I, and we don't really do anything special. I do always make him a card and try to make a nice dinner. It's just never been a big day for either of us.

Last year, my fiance and I went to a romantic restaurant for dinner except they sat us outside and it was freezing! We plan to go to dinner again this year and will most likely go home and snuggle in bed with a movie. I made him a card out of your templates from last year which came out great! He loved it!

I love Valentines' Day. I send cards to all my girlfriends and I send treats and cards to my nieces and nephews (we live 1000 miles apart) and I always do something special for my hubby and daughter. She lives in another city now so it will be a new challenge to make sure her Valentines Day is extra special.
