Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

To be entered into today's drawing please leave a comment letting me know how you celebrate Valentine's Day. Comments will be closed tonight at 9pm with the winner's posted shortly after.

Holidays are always about the little people in my life... my nieces/nephews, godchildren and friends' kids. I make cards and send them with candy and write them notes about specific reasons why I love them to pieces. I want to be that person in their lives that they know will always love them without condition so they have know they have a safe place to fall.

We celebrate Valentine's Day by jotting down in our planners something that each of us (my husband, son and I) loves to do with one another. Then, that becomes our Valentine's Day gift to each other.

My Hubby and I celebrate the day we met Feb. 7 1989. so for the week leading upto V-Day, we have mini dates. We try and do new and fun things, with out spending a lot of money. We focus on spending time together. We also make each other fun or quirky gifts. This year we will have been dating for 20 years. I am planning a good surprise. He sometimes hangs out with me in my craftroom, so I can't say. In case he's reading this, love Ya!

As soon as I put away our Christmas decordations, I pull out all of my Valentine's stuff and full the house with hearts and candy. On Valentine's Day I write a list of the 10 Things I love about my husband, son, and daughter and tuck them into their respective lunch boxes. We have heart shaped pancakes and sandwiches, and of course, lots of chocolate. In the evening my husband and I go out to dinner and toast another happy year together.

I've already started my preparations. I leave loves notes all over the place for my husband. I hide them in books, on the milk, in his shoes... sometimes it is months before he has found them all because I try to hide them really well.

Because Valentine's Day falls in the midst of my "busy season" (aka tax season - I'm an accountant) it's hard to do much celebrating. My husband and I have started a tradition of getting one of those cute heart-shaped pizzas from Papa Murphy's Take N Bake and just enjoy the evening by watching some tv together. We also take a special trip to Wal-Mart or Hallmark to pick up the perfect musical card for eachother. Love those things!

We celebrate by exchanging cards and Russell Stover's chocolates. I usually give my kids some other small gift, too, to let them know they're special. Absolutely love the "My Dear" line - will need to check into it!

my little guy is four, and we are always trying to 'out love' each other. so i'm thinking this year i will make a pretty paper chain, a huge one, to decorate with. and tell him each link is how much i love him. and i'll hang it all through his room on the 13th so he sees it when he gets up. and maybe some cupcakes for valentine's breakfast.
