Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

i get up early and make everyone a red heart shaped everything breakfast. Then write love notes to everyone and leave them tied to their toothbrushes.

Valentines day is such a sweet day - we celebrate by making homemade valentines cards and exchange cards and sometimes gift with each other and the kids. We usually go out to eat or go dancing, too. Thanks for the chance to win such lovely gifts!

We keep it pretty low. I always hide a little "I love you" note in a place where my spouse doesn't expect one to be, but will find it for sure. The places of the last couple of years included the coffee tin (and it's actually still in there, because he wants to keep it!), his lunch bag or his pencil case. Just love that kind of surprises.

We used to do something more romantic, actually I would plan it, but with the birth of our twins we havent' really done too much fancy. They are just 1 1/2 so this year I plan to get them some cute lil trinkets and hopefully spend some time reconnecting with my husband.

As a child, my dad used to get my sister and me a sweet card or gift, along with what he got for my mom. Loved that.
With my husband, the only tradition I have is that I get him two cards - one serious and one funny. And I usually make him something, too!

Candy for the kids, and just a quiet night at home. Hopefully the weather will get above zero by then, and we can cook out!

I don't have any valentine's traditions (being 22 and all) but I think this year some friends are getting together and going out to celebrate our singlehood!

Our valentine's tradition is usually a meal - the recent favorite pick is chicken marsala followed by a "fancy" dessert that we've never tried (in a restaurant or making at home - totally NEW). Two years ago, banana's flambe; last year, creme brulee. See a theme there with the fire? Yes, I have 2 boys - 14 and 18 now - teenagers! Gotta love 'em!

I make a special dinner for my hubby and I to enjoy after our little girl goes to bed. Last year we had a little "fondue party" dinner out on our coffee table while we watched a romantic movie and cuddled. I love Valentine's Day!

Wow, all these romantic husbands, I am jealous, my husband views it as a Hallmark holiday! I always make sure the kids have something special in their lunches, even if they are teenagers, with a "goody bag" waiting for them when they wake up that day. My parents are in their 80's in Florida -- I send them a special valentines package every year and they so look forward to it, and they love it!

This year, and in years past, I'll be celebrating Valentine's Day by mailing my hubby a card, in late January. He's in Iraq, so it'll be the highlight of his day. Also, this year I had my son (15 months) send him a little red shovel, from Joann's that said "I dig you" and it was signed "from my sandbox to yours".

I have never been able to spend a Valentine's Day with my husband (even while we wer dating)...until this year!!! I think that I am going to have to go all out this year because of it. I usually just make sugar cookies for him and heart attack our door. Now I just have to think of something fun for this year.

We don't have a tradition for Valentine's day (maybe when we have kids we will :) ). But this year we are going to Disney World. We went for Christmas and had such a great time that we just had to get passes to go back. Can't wait!

The past couple of years, we've celebrated Valentines on an alternate day b/c of the crowds & overpricing. But this is a new year, a new home, 2 new puppies and I'm thinking something sweet & simple. Maybe some Valentines doggy treats, takeout & watching our wedding video.

I always send my husband on a scavenger hunt around the house. I usually tape the clues to hershey's kisses. At the end will be the prize, a night out without the kids, a back massage, a day of golf at his favorite course, etc...

We like to spend time as a family on Valentines. We usually plan a really fancy dinner where we dress up use candles with the children and make handmade valentine cards to pass out.

My mother has carried on a tradition that her dad did...each of us (3) kids (and now my guy) each get a box of chocolates from the local candy shop. This is a tradition I hope to carry on when I have children of my own....

Valentine's Day is a day when the my husband and son plan and scheme and execute some romatical event for the three of us. I then, in turn, plan some creative and fun "baskets" for them for Easter.
