Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

Valentine's Day is simple, but sweet. Lots of red food in my son's lunch, complete with a heart shaped sandwhich. A love note for my husband (always with a small bit of chocolate) and a special dinner as a family.

Valentines is usually quiet for us. We always stay in, and hubby usually cooks for a change.

I love Valentines Day. My husband and I go out to eat and to a movie. I also make it a point to send out Valentines to good friends and family!

We celebrate Valentine's Day as a family. We either go out for dinner or I fix something special. We buy and make valentines for each other.

Normal Valentine's Day for me is something handmade for my daughter (she's 19 now, but still enjoys mom's handmade stuff), preceeded by days of making cards to sell at work. So I'm definitely in the mood for VDay. I love the red, pink, white and black colors, very energizing! I will be on a scrapbooking cruise this year, so will have to do my daughter's card beforehand.

This year I plan on making brownie pops (bakerella!) and delivering to people and places you normally take holiday (xmas) treats to. I love doing that at velntine's day because's it's unexpected and fun!

That picture is just amazing. We don't really have a ritual for Valentine's, but a meal for the two of us would always be a bonus. I do make a card of course!

I'd only ever bought cards for my partner until last year when I made your wonderful felt Valentines card. Now its going to be my tradition to create this every year for one special person. This year its going to be my best friend who is 44, single and childless. She needs a little love.

Oh I miss the days of a sack or a box decorated by little hands and stuffed full of valentines and sweets...my sweet hearts are 21, 15 and 13 so an itunes card and a special supper and they are happy. Love these days of little hands to hold they fly by too quickly, I will spend some time this heart day looking back at scrapbooks and remembering. I am so excited to hear the news of pink taking over your home and heart! Thank you dear Ali for sharing!

I found out from my husband when I got married that it's just not Valentine's day if there's not heart-shaped sugar cookies with pink frosting! So that's what I make for Valentines' day :-)

I'm part of a family of 6, and a few days before, we draw names, and on Valentines day we give that person a little something, flowers, candy small gift etc... and do special little things for them to show how much we love and appreciate them. We always leave hearts everywhere with notes written on, and we finish the day with a candle lit dinner and a special meal and dessert. We always dress up for the day and tr to wear pink or red. It's one of our favorite days! I'm enjoying reading everyone's ideas so much!!

We try to keep Valentines pretty simple. My kids and I love to make little mini cards to give away to friends (not so hard when they are mass produced). We always make sure to bake our favorite yummy low fat brownies to share with family and friends. And of course, I let my kids and hubby know how much I love them.

When my kids lived at home I use to do little "treat bags" up for them... my hubby and I always go to a special restaurant for Valentines Day... although we usually go before or after Valentines Day because on the day is just too nuts! LOL

I typically handmake a card for my hubby and buy a cute little Valentines stuffed animal for my daughter. However, she has really outgrown the stuffed animal thing so I'm going to have to come up with something really creative this year.

I am single (boo Hoo) and For Valentines Day me and 4 other girlfriends that do not have dates are getting all dressed up and going to a beautiful restaraunt. We decided to make a Valentine gift for each other and wrap pretty and make a cute card! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with! Grace
