Three Things + 1 : Lots of Love (and giveaways)
Tags:This week we are taking a peek at a couple Valentine/Love related products. Look for another round of three next week - there are just too many cool things out there for creating projects that celebrate those you love.

• Thinking a little tiny bit about Valentine projects (must be all the pink). Planning to use my new "Loving Stamps" from Technique Tuesday on something Valentine related. You can also pick up a similar digital version called "Loving Life Word Art." You can download the new Technique Tuesday 2009 Winter Supplement (pdf)
to see the entire line of stamps (or go here).

• Speaking of Valentine's, one of my favorite product lines from CHA last summer
(the big Craft & Hobby show) was from Little Yellow Bicycle called "Love Letters." I love the cardstock stickers (shown above),

• This wonderful print that is going to hang somewhere in my house (maybe in the baby's room or a bathroom) from isophotography (found via poppytalk handmade). It would make a great gift for a loved one.
• And one more lovey thing I couldn't resist this week: little love notes tickets from Making Memories.

We have a quiet night at home. Cute cards for the kiddos, funny cards for each other. Kids are still too young for packed lunches & things, but those days will come fast, I'm sure. :)

You are the best with give aways!
We don't really celebrate Valentines Day per say as far as cards and gifts go....but we do make a point of spending the day together as a family...so I guess that is celebrating isn't it?
it is a good reminder of everything that is right and important in my life.

I love holidays tho dh would pass on most of them. ;-) Our first Valentine's Day married he took me to test drive a car and we bought it. I'm still enjoying that Valentine gift 8 yrs later.
Usually we try to plan a trip to somewhere nice-just not home-and have celebrated Valentine's Day that way. This year I'm going to make my grandchildren Valentine's cards before we go and all are inspired by your techniques and by your blog! so Happy Valentine's Day to YOU.

Since it's so crowded in restaurants on Valentine's Day, my husband and I usually spend the night at home and go out to celebrate a few days later.

Adorable goodies! What I try to do every year is just make sure my daughter knows how special she is. What I would love to start doing is having my husband take my daughter (her stepfather) out on little dates to show her how girls should be treated. I think it would be a special bonding time for them too.

I like to bake desserts both traditional heart shaped cookies and some new candy recipes as well. I love to make Divinity, box it all up with Valentine confetti and share it with family, friends, teachers, etc. Valentines are for sharing.

homemade valentines! from me to them, from us to daddy, from kiddos to classmates...can't bear the thought of paying for the store valentines. this year we'll repeat last years since it was a hit...making a giant heart valentine and photographing the kid with it...printing it out and attaching it to a cello bag of homemade cookies or candies...the kids in the class were in awe last year...and it helped plan a few afternoons of activity for my busy three! :)

Funnily enough I have never had a romantic Valentine's Day, so instead it is a day to appreciate all the loved ones in my life. This year I am helping out with cooking for my parents' party along with my sister.

V-day this year marks 8 years since the day I met my husband, and 4 years since our black lab Laura was born. Hubs and I celebrate with a date night; I make Laura white cupcakes, decked out with hearts, and we share with the kids.

Wow - I love your 'loving' stamps - they are gorgeous!
This year I will be celebrating Valentine's with RSVPs for my wedding. I made the RSVP date Valentine's Day in the hope my invitees would remember!
We traditionally exchange cards and try to carve out some time for date night. With it being a Saturday this year we should be able to celebrate on the day itself!

Hubby and I haven't been together for many of our Valentine's Days. He was deployed for alot of them. When we are together, we usually do a low key night in. I make something pasta (we are Italian) and watch a movie, and split a bottle of wine. We exchange cards and share a box of really good chocolates.

Every valentines day, my daughter and I always make a card for my husband (she's only 2, so her helping has been some scribbling or I stamp her hand print in red).

In our family we usually celebrate Valentines has always been simple and spent with the kids. We have our traditional dinner of heart shaped pizza.
Last year my husband and I actually got to go out for Valentines day. It had been about 6 years since he had seen me in a dress (before kids). I went out and got shoes and a dress for a suprise. It was definately a wonderful evening out and he was very suprised.
