ohh very sweet! Just love when one comes across this stuff.
Just like my niece after seeing Jack Frost (Micheal McKeanon) She said, "Mom, I love you so much," She was 5. back then.
I was just admiring that and hope I can do that for my child someday!
It's the warmest feeling ever, isn't it?
Oh my. How incredibly touching. I teared up and don't even know you and Simon irl. Thank you for sharing. You never know what you'll find in those backpacks, do you? I recently found a cut-out fish on which my kindergartner had written "Penguins like fish with sprinkles." I'm scrapping that funny one!
On an only vaguely related note, I blogged about one of my backpack "finds" that made me think about my son's autism in a different way. If you're interested, here's the link... http://questioningmyintelligence.blogspot.com/2009/01/godiva-chocolate.html
A forever treasure. Seems like a little glimpse into what sharing also might mean to him. This is really touching, Ali.
btw, I so love those little dresses in Anna's room. Worn so fleetingly but oh so precious.

Awwww . . . maybe Mom should write a note back: "My dream is that I have Daddy, Simon, and Anna forever."
