Pokemon and Chaotic trading cards!!! My son is an avid collector and he loves showing them to me and explaining their powers, levels, etc. The colors and shapes on some of these cards, along with the unsual words, has been leading me in my page and card design lately.
I've never done anything digital so this would be fun to learn!

Lately I have been digging the web for artistic inspiration, going through your old posts for lay out ideas, participating in challenges from the gpp street team, watching all of Tim Holtz demo videos. I have a package of art goodies coming this week and I am looking forward to working in my art journal all weekend!

Getting healthy. I have had a terrible asthma infection for the last 4 weeks, spending 5 days in the hospital hooked to an iv. I scrapped while in "the big house", and it has made me yearn for more. I feel better and I am enjoying the little things I haven't been able to do but are slowly coming back to me. Like breathe.

I am inspired by my 365 project. It's so amazing the things I'm documenting as I try to find things to photograph for each day. I've been consistently journaling every day. By the end of the year, I'll have a complete record, which will be nice since my oldest son is going into the marines this spring.

My family inspires me. Everyday I am reminded of what a joy motherhood is; to have that closeness with my children. To have the privilege to care for them, encourage them, love them. And in return I am loved and full. They inspire me, making me want to capture the very many special moments in our daily lives.

My kids inspire me. I am inspired by them to capture how their relationship has changed since my little one was born 9 months ago. My daughter is 4 and she has changed so much since my son was born. She has adapted to having a brother that chases her around the house and wants to do all of the fun things she does. Every now and then I'll catch a special moment between them....look here....

and I treasure it. I know that soon enough, I'll be listening to, "MOM!! GET HIM OUT OF MY ROOM!" so I want to remember those times that melt my heart. Therefore, I am inspired to take a minute and watch their relationship grow, and try to catch it when I can. I love websites like clickinmoms.com (thanks Ali!), Karen Russell's blog (http://karenrussell.typepad.com/), and of course, your blog ;0) for all kinds of tips, great photography and inspiration to try things on my own.
Thanks!!

I have been inspired by the knowledge that Spring will be here soon. The thought of a change in weather has revved up my creative groove. Love getting out all of my Easter and spring time goodies. I'm ready to plant flowers in the yard, until then I'm making paper flowers and playing with floral prints

The hint of spring in the air is inspiring me big time...to: purge and clean house, to scrap "nature" layouts that should've been done ages ago...and to just overall, have a positive outlook for our future.
