Would love to go to Atlanta! It's only a 4 hour car trip! I use everything...packaging, clothing tags, price tags, small peices of ribbon or string I find that looks 'old'...my eyes are always open when I'm not sb to unique things in my everyday life I could use...thanks for the giveaways! Enjoy that sweet little baby!

My tip is to save all scraps you never know when it will come in handy also I save packaging. I like to use the clear plastic as a transparency.

Thanks for this chance to win! My group of scrapping friends (we've been meeting for several years) is drawing names each month and creating a kit, from our stash, for that person. Each month our challenge is to make something for ourselves and for the person who gave us the kit. This was Paulette's idea (http://paulettesarsfield.typepad.com/) so she'd be the winner of this give-away. She is even offering up a prize "kit" for the winner - that is the person who used the most stuff from the kit they had.
This way we get something made from those papers and supplies we just had to have and so does our friend. At our last "meeting" we all commented that it's like Christmas every month. The bonus is that we don't want to let our friends down so we make the time to create each month!
It's been lots of fun to make kits suited each friend, too!

Thanks for the giveaway! For a frugal tip---Use what you have! Remember--to focus on photos and words (it's my mantra) and telling your stories. The more that is handmade, the more that is pure you in your scrapbooks, well, the more meaningful they will be! Remeber-products and trends change with time--focus on the phots and the words, they are timeless:)

It isn't a very original tip but when I "LOVE" a paper or product line I try to save money by not purchasing all the bits and pieces of the line. Instead I print whatever shape or letter I want on the back of the patterned paper and hand cut the embellishment I want OR I create a template out of the cardboard that comes in many paperpacks to cut out the image I need. This saves me money and storage space - two birds, one stone..I love that!

When I'm scrapping I always look thru my scraps of paper for the size I need before I cut a brand new sheet of paper.

I am actually giving you an idea my friend did on one of her pages.... which I thought was really cool...
She can't wear acrylic nails...so she buys the press on or glue on nails... these nails sometimes come with little nail jewels... well she doesn't use them on her nails.. she uses them on her pages to accent her boarders... What a great idea... most of the time those things end up in the trash... And she turned it into something great....

Don't toss scraps, use them for cards and if you organize them by color they are easy to get to when you need.
Thanks for the giveaway!

My frugal tip would have to be try to save on adhesive. I try and use my sewing maching, staples and brads more to fasten things down. I was finding that I was spending way too much cash on glues, tapes and pop squares.

Fabulous giveaways!
I scrapbook with my friends on Fridays and we share everything. It really helps if you need a certain shade of paper or that perfect addition to a page. We all give and receive and it is fun!

It's hard to not buy every new thing that comes out, but when I look at my designs I'm really pretty classic and basic...so I try to spend my money on things that can be used in a lot of different ways. And I reuse everything...especially the sheets from letter stickers (they make great masks).
Paint and ink are my favorite frugal supplies...you can do so much with them!

I like to find fun ways to use up leftover alpha stickers, like cutting them apart and making funny faces. I did this last night on a card,it was a lot of fun and would be good for kids too. Any giveaway winning would be great for me, I would make the ATL trip if I won.

My tip is to save all scrapbook paper scraps I either use them on another page or in my art journal. Also I like to save the plastic wrapping from my packages and use them like transparencies.

My biggest frugal tip is to SAVE SCRAPS! I do most of my layouts with scraps-they go so far! I organize my scraps by color, so I can find exactly what I need...fast! It saves lots of paper by saving scraps.

Would love to go to Atlanta - but probably not realistically in my future. :)
My frugal tip is using BOTH sides of a page. Here's what I mean. I love kraft paper - the color goes with just about everything. Sooo I make my beautiful creation on one side - and then flip it over to use the "unfinished" side too. :) I get two pages for the price of one sheet of paper.

I would have to say digital scrapbooking is the biggest money saver I have ever come across! I unfortunately spent about 10K in paper and tools and nearly bankrupting myself before before finding it, but hopefully others will be convinced to give it a try! As much as i would love to ,I cant make it to Atlanta. I probably should only be entered for the digital kits after all. Thanks hun!

When I receive a card with something I like on it, I remove it and use it on my pages. Sometimes I like the whole card and if it would work for my scrapbooking, I'll use the whole thing.

My tip is using "varnish" on scrapbooking paper instead of glossy accents. The paper doesn't warp or curl, and it comes out with a beautiful sheen.

My tip? Instead of buying one of those ridiculously expensive die-cutting machines, use a classic Xacto knife and cut your own shapes. (:
